The stay, staff , room and the ambiance are impressive.
The front desk ensured to check whether there is any need for me to keep the luggage for a day before i leave the city on check out and stored in safe room.
It's not fancy but...the rooms are clean, beds very comfortable. Location is excellent for shopping and subway access. Breakfast has plenty of food options for everyone. This is a great little hotel. The rooms are small, but it's a great place to stay and affordable!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special. The rooms are spacious and reminiscent of city loft apartments. The rooftop bar is fantastic and the ambience is great All staff are very attentive and seem to be having fun whilst being professional. They all act like they enjoy working here and have a can do attitude! The concierge was very attentive and made our booking of our 48 hour pass for downtown, uptown tour etc very easy and seamless. Our favourite start to each evening was to sit in Winnie's jazz bar just off the foyer and enjoy a couple of cocktails, I'd recommend both the Luster and the Vesper cocktails as they were absolutely gorgeous. The nightly jazz made the atmosphere wonderful and very special plus the young lady serving us was very attentive. Breakfast is good value for money in Parker & Quinn's restaurant and the flat breads served in the rooftop bar are also delicious. We used to always stay at the Waldorf Astoria when visiting New York but never again and from now on it has to be the Refinery! To cap our stay, when we left early on Sunday we were presented a little gift by Isaiah as a thank you for our first visit! Our trip was to see Billy Joel play at Madison Square Garden and it was made even more special by all who work at Refinery Hotel. We will return next year. Don't change too much and keep doing what you all do because it's fantastic!

Some of NYC’s best-known landmarks are north of 14th and south of 59th—or Midtown Manhattan. Its western half is home to Manhattan's largest venues: the Javits Center and Madison Square Garden. In the Garment District, designers try to stay a cut above fashion's latest trends. Nearby, Hell's Kitchen is hot thanks to Restaurant Row. In one block on West 46th, diners can dash from Bangkok to Brazil.
