Brilliant self-catering house and lovely owners

"River View house is incredibly well-equipped and furnished, and very spacious, bright and cosy (recently renovated, by the look of it). Everything was spotless, and the beds were comfy. Plenty hot water and heating too. Great views of the loch in the distance. We had to phone the owners on a couple of occasions: they were super responsive and came down to the house swiftly. A lovely, kind couple, whom we were happy to meet. Thank you for this extremely pleasant stay! Highly recommend this house."

"Amazing cosy compact accommodation - immaculately clean and very helpful hosts - David was particularly helpful with information and assistance when our ferry was cancelled due to storm Kathleen. Beds very comfortable and the added touch of assorted cereals and goodies went down a treat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED XX"

Detached spacious Isle of Lewis cottage in tranquil position with loch view

Quiet and peaceful

"The location of the cottage in Carloway is great for exploring the island of Lewis, it’s archeological sites, many walks and hikes. There is a well stocked shop in town for anything you need. The house is cozy and peaceful looking out on the loch in front. The kitchen has good supplies for cooking. It is the perfect place for rest and renewal in the beauty of the western isles, and also as a base for outdoor activities."

Very Private Croft Cottage on Scenic Sea Loch in the Wonderful Western Isles

Great property in an excellent location.

"The property was very comfortable and spacious. Everything necessary was available. We couldn't have asked for more and didn't expect what we found at at a very honest price. We cannot fault John for his cooperation and his management of the property. The information available was comprehensive and up to date. The position of the house is excellent if you have a car and want to visit all of the island. The maximum drive time was about 1 hour and fifteen minutes. We can only HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property for a vacation in the Hebrides. We hope to visit again and we would very happily stay at 5 Crulivig."
