"We had a fantastic family holiday here. The house was very comfortable and clean and well appointed. Our grandson particularly appreciated the Brio Train Set and all the Lego....not to mention the Tarzan Swing along the lane. Our welcome pack was the best I have ever had. The situation is just beautiful and for us, just perfect for visiting our family in Barry. Only thing to flag up, as we arrived in the dark, we were looking for the Yellow Grit Bin, which isn't there now!!!! It didn't matter...

"A lovely little cottage that had everything you need. We stayed with our two young children. We would definitely stay again and would recommend it, but we have two areas that weren't perfect. Getting the boiler just right took a while. There wasnt enough hot water on our first night, so the kids ended up with a tepid bath and theln in trying to sort that out we set the boiler to come on early in the morning so we could have hot showers - the boiler is noisy and so woke us up very early. "Looks small from the front but is actually very spacious, plenty of room for us family of 4, and can accommodate more. Located in a lovely picturesque village with a stream at the rear of the house. Well equipped with everything you could need, our 5 year old loved having all the toys and bunk bed. Stopped for a few nights for a nearby wedding, was ideal for us. Nice couple of treats left from the owners too."

"Property was lovely and spacious, bathrooms could do with either un upgrade or deep clean but were functional and plenty hot water. We didnt use cooking facilities etc, just really bed and sitting rooms, but all were comfortable. Parking on the street is a bit of a challenge as its so narrow but is available. Great wee pub at the end of the street. And plenty of takeaways deliver."
