"The rooms were very clean if a little on the small side. The beds were comfy and the decor pleasant with a quirky map drawing of Amsterdam on one wall. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location for exploring city centre on foot but trams and Metro close by. "

"Spotless and incredibly friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff efficient and available to help. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Cannot find fault really. If we were really picky, the wash handbasin in our room was a little small, but hey, everything worked, and served its purpose well 👍 I would highly recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Taunton as a good base. It's next to the station so you can hear the trains when in the station, but it's not too loud or intrusive. "

"This has been one of our best breaks away. As soon as we arrived at the Manor, the staff were so welcoming, and we felt like we had been taken into a lovely family. Nothing has been too much trouble, all the staff were friendly, caring and happy. The food was the best we have had. It was hot, tasty and very large portions. The rooms were clean and presentable. The Assistant manager Richard went out of his way to accommodate us, and Toni the receptionist was a joy and so helpful. Would highly reccommend the Manor Hotel. "
