"A very welcoming greeting upon arrival. The room was lovely and clean with plenty of storage space. The breakfast was very good and certainly set you up for the day. I didn’t eat in the pub for an evening meal, but it was a very quaint country pub, full of atmosphere. The menu choices looked very good, and if the breakfast was anything to go by I’m sure the meals would be very good too. Highly recommend the old inn."

A Perfect Getaway Holiday Home, Impeccably Stylish, Rustic Luxury

"We were looking for a comfortable country retreat, from which we could explore the delights of Dorset. The cottage performed very well and it proved a calm and relaxing place to stay. The weather in early June was less reliable and plans for country and coastal walks didn’t eventuate. Locals had wet walking gear, but for us visiting from Western Australia we were unprepared."

"Fantastic stay at oxbridge farms! Carolyn and Jo were both so helpful and attentive! The room was spacious and clean with a lovely view. We were also greeted by their very friendly dog. Would definitely stay again if we come back to visit the area in the future! I would note that roads into the property are single lane country roads just as an FYI for those driving in."

"Such an amazing place, it has quickly become one of our most favourite places to stay. The barn is very comfortable and the hosts are friendly and welcoming. It was beautiful eating outside watching the deers stroll around in the fields. It’s a great place to just unwind but near enough to several lovely seaside towns including Weymouth, West Bay and Lyme Regis."

"A delightful stay with a multi-generational family group and the property suited our needs perfectly. A well equipped kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. The ground floor bedroom was useful for grandparents. As mentioned in the description, the Internet was a bit patchy at times but we chose to embrace this as an opportunity for digital detox."

"We had a very enjoyable week at Copper Beech which is situated in a lovely village. It would have been nice to have had a welcome pack to greet us or to meet the owners , there wasn't any spare toilet rolls or rubbish bags they would have been helpful. The rooms are spacious albeit rather bare of pictures and in need of updating. It was good to have all the bedrooms ensuite although some of us had dripping taps. The kitchen was well equipped and the swimming pool was a big bonus and the outside garden and orchard are very pretty. We opted to pay extra for the central heating which helped keep down the need to use pound coins in the meter. Overall, the house was fine for family and friends and was a good base to tour the Jurassic coast. There is a very good local pub called The Hare and Hounds about 1 mile away with excellent food and friendly staff. Ken ."
