"This first floor two bedroomed apartment was very clean, well decorated and comfortable, light, airy and roomy. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the location was ideal for nearby coastal walks. The provision of a cream tea on arrival was a nice touch. Would definitely stay there again."
"Nice little place , great position for Bridport area. Parking can be a challenge, need to download the local parking app it works across Dorset. We enjoyed our stay. Would suggest the property is ready for an end of season refresh."
"Stayed for two nights while visiting friends in the area. Room very comfortable with a large tv and kitchenette with everything except a cooker/hob. Nice touches like biscuits, sweets, mini cheeses, milk, juice, etc. A problem with the WIFi on the first night was quickly sorted. Made the mistake ..."
"We had a fantastic stay with our two children. The only slight negativity was that when we arrived nobody came to greet us at reception and although we could see three or four people working. It would have been nice for someone to say we’ll be with you in two secs rather than feeling like we were ..."

Not as expected - shared with 2 other groups of guests
"The house was nice and host Markus welcoming. We were quite surprised when we learnt on our arrival that we are not the only guests to this house. There were 2 other guests and the 2 hosts, which meant 8 people shared 1 bathroom (+1 toilet) which I was not very comfortable with. From the listing ..."

"Room was spacious and clean with plenty of storage space .The bathroom was ok with fresh towels provided which were changed during our stay. However a breakfast buffet table would be good for juice, cereal ,fruit and yoghurt to self serve instead of asking for each item ."

Made the mistake on the second night of leaving the window open and woken by the seagulls’ dawn chorus in the morning but that would happen in any coastal town.
Would thoroughly recommend Southcroft as a base to explore the area."
"We had a fantastic stay with our two children. The only slight negativity was that when we arrived nobody came to greet us at reception and although we could see three or four people working. It would have been nice for someone to say we’ll be with you in two secs rather than feeling like we were being ignored. But once we were greeted it was fantastic from this point forward."
"We enjoyed our week in the cottage. A bonus was the garden at the end of the path. A bit overgrown but perfect for a sunny afternoon on the patio. I have to add that the traffic noise was apparent. The kitchen diner is well equipped. The rear of the rooms are lovely. A 10 minute walk to the town. We thoroughly enjoyed the Hat Festival and were lucky enough to have excellent weather."
