"The property would have been great only if they picked up our luggage from the bus port. It is high up in the mountain, very difficult to drag your luggage. Not enough warning provided as to how difficult it would be to take your baggage. No taxi, no pick up, I saw other guests who almost cried, dragging their luggage up to the hotel often on narrow oncoming traffic."

"From the moment our host met us, it was an incredible experience! Such an easy check in and the apartment had every thing that we would need for our visit! And let me tell you, the pictures do not do this gorgeous place justice! Absolutely STUNNING views that would take your breath away! Just a short walk or drive to downtown Menaggio where you can catch a ferry across to Bellagio or Varenna, and even Como! We had a washer so we could easily wash our clothes so you won’t have to pack as much. Alysse,our host was incredibly accommodating and tended to all of our needs! The place has a full kitchen and we even cooked in a couple of nights! There is a fabulous grocery store just down the way! Also, if you like gelato..one of the best ice cream and gelato shops is just down at the end of the street from the apartment! We can’t express enough about how perfect this little spot was! We will be staying there again soon (I hope!) "

"The property was a joy. The views, the comfort, the historical deals where all an absolute pleasure. We were a large group celebrating a milestone birthday. It fit perfectly for our needs. We had a few issues with the gate at check in, but George was quick to respond and great to work with. Please note, this is a historical villa, so you will have the issues that go along with an older home, but none distracted from our stay, just added character. Thank you for an amazing time! We hope to stay again in the future."

"The Grand Hotel Victoria is an amazing property with a warm and friendly staff willing to help at all times. Our stay in a Jr Suite was spectacular, with a deck and expansive views of Lake Como. The rooms were very nicely appointed and the staff was very responsive to cleaning requests, turn down service and requests for things like ice and pillows. The Spa is amazing, with literally something for everyone, whether you like lap pools, waterfall massagers, hot and cold therapies, saunas and so much more. The beach club is a 5 minute walk down the street and provides multiple pools, lounge areas, dining and of course access to the lake itself. Finally, the food was excellent, from the breakfast buffet to inspired Italian meals. You won't be disappointed in this hotel, and Menaggio is a great location to explore all that Lake Como has to offer. "
