The only disadvantage is that you have to drive elsewhere in the evening for dinner though I believe the hosts can provide additional meals if requested. It had everything that we needed. The area is stunning, it's a spectacular bit of coast path. We loved the tin mine and managed to happily spend the whole day there when it was raining. We went to the village pub one evening and local musicians were jamming. The hosts were great at communicating with us and the lady who lives over the road and looks after the place was very helpful and friendly. I'd happily go and stay there again, I loved the place." It’s just 20 or so minutes from the train and main bus station. The house is well equipped with leaving you everything you’d need for a trip away. The kitchen has all the tools you could want and there’s even two sitting rooms with TV’s in them. The three bedrooms all have double beds. We did have an issue but the owner was very proactive and sorted it without fuss. Often you don’t know how well people are prepared to look after you until something goes wrong. I’m pleased to say in this case communication was good and the issue sorted quickly. Transport links near the house are great and there are loads of great places to eat in town which is easy walking distance.
