Nice, quiet and little part of the city, which requires that you take a private train line (not covered by jr pass). The instructions to get to the place was clear. I would recommend it as a short stay before heading off around this beautiful country.
Meguro is a residential district in southwest Tokyo. The Meguro River gives the district its name, and in May you can find families picnicking under the cherry trees that line its banks. September sees a festival celebrating the local delicacy, a fish called samna. Those with strong constitutions should check out the 8.8 meter tapeworm on display at the Meguro Parasitological Museum.
