"I stayed in the Chatsworth Ensuite room while away on business and it was such a refreshing change from a tired, soulless room in a hotel chain.
The bathroom is beautiful and I left disappointed I couldn't stay longer to make use of the enormous bathtub.
Homely touches like candles and real milk for a coffee means I hope this room will be available next time I travel.

"Lovely place to stay. Each room has its own front door onto the car park. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The food and drink in the pub is really nice and the breakfast is brilliant. Will stay again if in the area. "

"We did not stay in this place. It was dirty. The beds were not as pictured, and the rooms weren’t either. The kitchen was 2/3 the size, and one of the bedrooms was like a dungeon. "
Station Road - Contemporary 1bedroom Flat with 2 king beds & ensuite bath
8/10 Good
"The room was comfortable and quite spacious and the beds were also comfortable. The place is very convenient for the station and for public transport into the city and the University area. There are lots of food choices within the area including a large supermarket within walking distance. Our room on the front of the property was a bit noisy at night especially because it was so hot we needed the windows open. However it was generally fine and I would recommend it for visitors to the city."
"Unhabitable!!
Some of the issues we reported! Mould in the bathroom, stains on the bedroom floors, existing damage to the kitchen worktops, signs & symptoms (gurgling) of kitchen sink becoming blocked, patch repairs on the walls and tv remote control missing its back plate and batteries.
Shower tray was allowing water to escape resulting in puddles of water on the floor after each person showers and therefore becoming a slip hazard. Shower head leaking and water temperature fluctuating constantly between scolding hot and freezing cold, was a real concerns as we had children with us. One bedroom radiator not working resulting in our children waking up to a freezing cold room. Kitchen extractor hood drips grease as you cook. Kitchen equipment was lacking, e.g. 1 fork for a family of 4!
The staff at Prim Short Stays were helpful and did their best to help with some of the issues we identified.
To add to our distress, my wife with the kids returned one afternoon to the property to find the door open and a stranger in the property. Having confronted the individual, it was the maintenance team that have been sent to resolve the problems we reported. We were given no prior notice by Prim Short Stays.
We immediately raised the issue with Prim Short Stays as this was totally unacceptable and are still waiting to hear back from their management team!
Holiday ruined, caused the family undue stress, property needs serious remidal work. Totally unacceptable for what we paid.

Station Road - Contemporary 1bedroom Flat with 2 single beds & ensuite bath
6/10 Okay
"Everything was clean and the beds reasonably comfortable. There was a microwave and a kettle, although these weren't mentioned in the info, so we thought we wouldn't be able to make a cuppa or heat some food, so we hadn't brought any food with us. There was only one cup for two people, but a second one was brought promptly when asked. One of the plugs didn't work, which caused a minor inconvenience. Hot tap dripping quite badly, wasting gallons of water. "
