"The Inn is a perfect place to stay when visiting my UConn student. The rates are reasonable, and the renovations are excellent. The ONLY complaint is the *very* strong air freshener smell in the lobby and hallways. Thankfully, the rooms are scent free. "

"This is by far my most favorite hotel in the Greater Hartford area. We stay here to visit family and the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. It’s more like a bed and breakfast with charming and historic decor. The breakfast is outstanding! We will be back. "

"We loved our stay. It was very restful with a great restaurant and bar attached so we didn’t have to go anywhere for food. There was a sort of strange 15 dollar fee the day of to access parking and the breakfast buffet but other than that no surprises. "

"Nice location, rooms were comfortable, especially the king bed. Restaurant and bar were good, menu is limited but we enjoyed a lunch and a dinner at Twigs lounge. Complimentary breakfast each day was quite good and better than most other hotels with pastries, bagels, fruit, cereal etc but also included Nutmeg cafe serving a hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage etc. "
