Lovely location. Popular pub for eating and weddings. Would stay again. Liked the lodge style rooms. Although updated signs of wear occurring.

Enjoyed a 2 night stay at the Crown to attend a wedding locally. It was just what we needed and wanted. Fantastic location: at the edge of village and high road but set back from the road so quiet, overlooking greenery, which must be even lovelier in sunshine. Our room was in a converted outbuilding beside the pub, so no stairs and nice decor. Food was excellent- we had a great choice of cooked breakfasts and also lunched there. Lighting for make-up was the only thing that could have been better, but not a problem for me as I brought a portable light with me in my bag and there were plenty of points. The host and hostess were really helpful to us during our stay and we will definitely be back to stay again and explore the area.

Excellent location on the riverside run by husband and wife team. Very helpful. Good choice of Continental Breakfast.
