"I stayed one night at the Bristol Hotel whilst in Bristol for the weekend to see the new Greatest Showman musical. The hotel was in a great location - near the Harbourside and close to walk to the theatre and the main shopping area. I did room only so didn’t have any food at the hotel, but it was a great price for the room - a lovely big room with plenty of amenities and a comfortable armchair as well. The hotel lobby has a lovely smell and feels very upmarket. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a secure car park right next door that the hotel offer a slight discount on, and there was an entrance directly into the hotel from the carpark which was great. I would definitely look to stay at The Bristol Hotel again if I return to Bristol. "

"The only thing that I feel could be improved wax the shower, it just needs updating."

"The Angle has seen better days. It’s clear it was once a lovely hotel but it is now rather tired and needs refurbishing. We were upgraded to a suite and our room was spacious but the shower was cold. All the staff were very friendly, it has a nice bar and the breakfast was good and inexpensive compared to other hotels. The hotel is well situated being only a short walk to the shops and the rugby."

"Stayed for three days for a work event and enjoyed it. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the property was clean and tidy. Being located in the city center there's plenty of things to see and do nearby."

"Once again, a lovely stay. Lovely staff on reception. Great room. Executive lounge was a lovely treat with very friendly staff in there. Perfect location. Convienient car park, much more reasonable than others in the area. Will absolutely be back. Thank you"

"The Parkgate Hotel is well-situated, and a beautiful hotel. Their breakfast was delicious, and the rooms are comfortable and modern. It is a bit tricky because there is no place to pull up in front of the hotel to drop off or pick up guests and luggage, but that seems to be pretty standard in Cardiff. The location of this hotel can't be beat for those attending events at Principality Stadium."
