"The hosts were fabulous and blew is away with their welcome pack but is not suitable to sleep 4. Everything is just in one room and there's only seating for 2 unless you want to sit on a bar stool. The layout also needs rethinking because at one point my wife was in bed having a cup of tea and waved to the hosts as they pulled up in their car. If they switched the sofa and bed you'd get more privacy and be able to watch the tv from the sofa. Otherwise, it was great. Would recommend for a couple."

"My husband and I stayed in this idyllic Shephards hut whilst on a trip to look after our Grandchild during the day time . After running around after a 4 year old all day , it was a welcome sanctuary to come home to this beautiful dwelling with its lovely fairy lights and delightfully warm hot tub to recharge our worn out bodies for the next days shenanigans . Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer and have a few days for ourselves to explore the beautiful surroundings . We will definitely...

"We just stayed here for my sister’s hen weekend. Although at one point we didn’t think we would make it due to restriction, he hosts could not have been more helpful to make it easy for us. "We really enjoyed our stay, The shepherds hut exceeded our expectations, well equipped, cosy and in a great private location overlooking the forest. The hut was so lovely and warm with central heating and a log burner, the bed was comfortable, and the fixtures and fittings looked brand new. Also the rainfall shower was a lovely surprise. "The apartment itself was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, with little to no outside noise to disrupt sleep. Reception isn’t open on weekends but there was great communication from staff giving me information of how to access anything I needed. It’s a walkable distance into the town centre, Castle and Cardiff Central station, therefore offering places nearby to get any food, shopping etc. "

"Overall the property was in a great location.Flat was everything that you needed. Pity however that it was missing just a few little touches. A small bottle of milk would not have gone amiss. No salt and pepper. The TV remote control needs to be replaced. Control buttons not working . Could not get any BBC channels on free view . All small problems . The entry instructions were great and very clear. "
