"I manage to free from work earlier so i arrived at 9:10pm been told the kitchen closed at 9:40) for dinner and there were 2 members if the team (ladies, who first “attended me” ) were clearly feed up, with their day/work. This is not a complaint it is a comment to raise awareness. 0 hospitality skills. I get it they are tired and perhaps under staffed, but guests don’t really need to notice, the other 3 members of the team were kind, and they turn the occasion for better, which is just a warm dinner after a day of work and preparing for the next day early flight. Hope it helps. I will happily give more details if you like to."

"We stayed at The Harbour Hotel in Greenock, Scotland, from 14 to 18 September 2026, travelling with my son. We had a pleasant stay and found the hotel a convenient base for exploring Greenock and the surrounding area. The location was useful, and we enjoyed spending time together during our visit. We were happy with our stay and would consider staying at The Harbour Hotel again when visiting the area."

"Very clean, quiet definitely surprised by how quiet it was since it was connected to a hospital. The clerks at reception very friendly and helpful. The staff at breakfast and dinner were very polite and accommodating."

"The room was fabulous with a big comfortable bed. All the staff we met were friendly and very helpful. We were travelling with our dog so couldn’t eat breakfast in the main restaurant but we ate in the tavern instead which was lovely and quiet. We could pick from their menu or order anything from the main restaurant including the buffet too. In the evenings we ate in La Vista and again took our dog, the first was great and again we were well looked after. My only negative would be the cost of bringing our dog at £50 per night which is very high compared to other hotels on our trip and the very long dog policy we needed to sign on arrival which we’ve never come across before. As responsible dog owners we always clean up after our dog and would expect to pay extra in the unlikely event of damage."
