"Absolutely great familyhotel. Very clean. Signora Teresa is very helpful. Location is bit out of city but there is plenty free bicycles. Good breakfast. "
"Fantastic breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. The pool was really nice also and we liked how close it was to all the restaurants and beaches. Great value for price. "
"Fabulous stay exceptionally clean and very welcoming host, comfy bed. Only draw back was transport busses just were not reliable so had to get taxis everywhere "
"Very well located if you are in this area, very good breakfast buffet and the staff is superb, my only complaint is about the air conditioning in my room, very weak."

Hotel Flaminia
10/10 Excellent
"We were able to stay with family. Each of us had a lovely room and enjoyed breakfast together each morning. It is very conveniently located to the Castello Scaligero and Archaeological site of Grotte di Catullo. "
"We’ve had a lovely time at the hotel. The hotel is located in the Old Town and perfect location on the edge of the lake. We chose a double aspect balcony room. Our room was in the main hotel building. The room was a little dated but very clean. Shower was powerful and bathroom had bidet.
The spa and pool are situated across the courtyard and unfortunately there is a very strong smell of sulphur as you walk through to the pool.
The service in the bar was pretty much non existent, so we chose to have a drink elsewhere before finding somewhere for dinner.
The breakfast was included in the price and was very good too. Plenty of choice with some others choices for an extra cost.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again, but only in the original building. Rooms 2 and 3 are the ones with sun beds on the balconies and have a fantastic view of the lake."
"Very clean and very close to train station if using Verona as base point. However, there are no restaurants near by, so will have to go into city center or surrounding area for food. "
"This property is spotless, the staff are friendly and the food just gorgeous. The place is well thought out. A small car park, followed by the hot tub and pool, with sunbeds. There is also a sun terrace upstairs that is really nice but noone really used it apart from a couple of people. We never used the spa but you can book in to have a massage. The location is less than 5 mins to the lake and the town centre is about 10-15 min walk. Station is a good 25-30 mins walk but the tickets are easy to get and you can go to Verona, Milan or Venice quite easily. Great location, great staff and hotel. "
"The hotel has a feeling of old grandeur, which was lovely. The rooms are nice with very comfortable beds. It’s not in the town but the walk into town is easy and takes about 15 minutes. "
Lugano, nestled on the shores of its picturesque lake, boasts a charming nightlife that reflects its vibrant culture and stunning surroundings.
For a lively evening, head to the lakeside promenade where you'll find a selection of bustling bars and cafés that come alive after dark. Via Nassa, the city's main shopping street, also transforms into a lively hub, with several bars and restaurants offering a superb spot for enjoying aperitifs or cocktails.
The area around Piazza della Riforma is another hotspot, featuring a variety of venues that range from trendy bars to traditional trattorias. This square often hosts live music events and outdoor gatherings, creating a festive atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.
If you're after a more relaxed vibe, the neighbourhood of Cassarate offers a charming mix of wine bars and lounge spots, superb for unwinding with a glass of local wine while soaking in the stunning views of the lake.
