Boa opção para Londres

Posted 22-Oct-2016

Good location

Posted 21-Oct-2016
This hotel is in a great location, opposite Hyde Park and close to Queensway tube station on the Central line. Very convenient for getting into central London on the tube or bus. Nice neighbourhood with plenty of good places to eat nearby. However the standard room is tiny, very hard to move around in when you have two adults with two large suitcases. Comfortable bed and nice hot shower. Handy to have the iron and ironing board in the room. Walls are a bit thin so you can hear people in the rooms next door and above. Hotel staff were generally friendly but service was slow at reception. They organised a car to take us to St Pancras Station on our departure from London but failed to tell us that we would have to pay cash for this and how much it would be, which wasn't a huge problem but just created extra hassles for us because we had spent all of our pounds (since we were leaving the UK). All in all a decent hotel, just expected a bit more for the price we paid.

Nice location

Posted 15-Oct-2016
Pros: Great location and staff
Cons: Rugs and bathroom is new but hard for older people
Location: Great place near tube and restaurants and park
The hotel is in need of renovation it is in a good location but above a gas station and small elevators to go up to room. Over all staff was good but bathroom was dangerous and hard to get into giant tub for a slippery showers. Room was tired and the rug so dirty and stained ! Staff tried to help but it's tired looking. Good location across from Kensington park and near tube we had a blast anyway and the staff wonderful

Great location

Across from Kensington Gardens and close to Mayfair amenities. Room was comfortable but small and basic. Staff was friendly and helpful. Elevators a challenge.

Small room, but close to train station

Posted 07-Oct-2016
Pros: 2-3 blocks to queensway and bayswater stations, gas station underneath (for snacks/water), hotel held our luggage after checkout
Cons: very small room! As a gold member, we had no upgrades at all, our a/c unit didn't seem to be work, we could hear water running through pipes.
Location: Across the street from Kensington garden, our Stonehenge tour through premium tours was able to pick us up directly at the hotel

Close to Kensington Park

Posted 28-Sep-2016
Pros: Location.
Cons: Plumbing. Contingency plans for emergency situations.
Location: Kensington Palace and Hyde Park are across the road.
Hotel experienced difficulties. No water. Unable to use shower. No alternate arrangements made for guests to use facilities elsewhere. Difficulties with room card key in elevator - did not work - others having same problem. Disappointing.

Nice hotel but 4 star...?

Posted 28-Sep-2016
Had a nice stay but could be better. Lobby not on ground floor. Kind of weird. Room was very nice and maid service was great. We did have some issues though. AC performance was marginal and WiFi struggled to pull in one bar. There was an issue with no water one evening but it was resolved. In their defense I did not complain as we spent almost no time in the room but I still prefer no issues at all. I do like the area and might stay there again

Convenient lication

Booked 2 rooms, 1 was a comfortable size, the other was barely walkable. No room for luggage nor moving about. Location very convenient though.

The hotel room was clean, however, our window wouldn't open, the TV didn't work, no air conditioning, and we had to pay extra to make local phone calls.
