Right in the middle of everything!

Posted 19-Apr-2016
Pros: The Breakfast! Can't think of anything that stands out more. Forget about the rooftop bar or nice bathroom amenities. All I want is that breakfast!
Cons: The reservation of an enormous sum of money - PER NIGHT - for eventual mini bar costs needs to be changed ASAP. Six nights = my entire travel budget!
Location: Location is key in London, and The Trafalgar is close to the tube, to at least 10 different buses, and within walking distance to half of everything!
A real luxurious experience! The lobby and the restaurant was top notch, bright and clean with big open spaces. The room felt somewhat dark and "shadowy", but it is after all a Brittish hotel, and I guess that would be the norm. The staff was extremely friendly and service minded, and there was always someone available if one needed to help with anything. When checking in the clerk (who I think was in training) might have been more specific about signing me up as an HHonors-member. As things were I didnt mind being part of the HHonors Club, but I was a bit miffed having to find out about my participation afterwards. But there's a silver lining to everything, and the silver lining here being the invitation to the "weekly VIP drinks", that cams as a result of me being a member of The Club. The week in London was a 50th birthday gift from me to my missus, and as such I wanted the hotel to not be a shack...and that was basically the extent of my demands. Not a shack. This particular hotel, The Trafalgar, is definately not a shack. It is however ridiculously expensive, but seeing as I managed to find an unreal bargain, and given the price I ended up paying for the six nights, it was an absolute dream come true! Finally; I really recommend getting a room WITH breakfast included. It might seem expensive, but it is worth it! I can't list all included in it, because it would take forever, but it wouldn't be to much of an exaggeration to say that the breakfast buffet has it ALL!

Great hotel on Trafalgar Square

Great hotel on Trafalgar Square. Awesome roof top bar with beautiful views across the city. Room was a good size, carpets a little run down, beds and bathroom good. Service all around was excellent. We would definitely recommend.

Oslagbart läge´!

Posted 30-Mar-2016

Location: Trafalgar Square is on your footstep, perfect location if you have children that will be walking all day
Lovely, welcoming, we stayed for one night with two young children, beds were comfy, rooms were large, clean and warm.

Great staff, disappointing rooms

Posted 03-Feb-2016
Excellent location, right at Trafalgar Square and next door to the Charing Cross Tube station. Staff were very attentive and courteous and went out of their way to take care of the guest/me. Rooms however were very disappointing - crowded (wardrobes in the passage) chipped furniture......... I have stayed in lots of Hiltons across Europe and the US and I would rate the rooms in this hotel as being subpar, especially for the room rate they charge.

Well located for easy access to heart of west end

Comfortable stay for the night. Housekeeping knocking on the door first thing was my only gripe, otherwise excellent.

Superior Hotel and Great Location

Had a great time with the family seeing London. The Hotel was actually in a perfect location for what London has to offer. The room was large enough for a family of 4 and then some.
