Great location -close to everything!

Posted 28-Jun-2016
We loved our stay at The Stafford. It is tucked away and very quiet, but close to Piccadilly street and Buckingham palace. We walked everywhere. The hotel definitely caters to American travelers, which was nice, but has a British feel. Pretty reasonably priced, too.

Wonderful location. Traditional & Perfect

Posted 03-Jun-2016
Location: Great for the National Gallery, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, West End, Westminster Abbey....and Chutney Mary!
Always love to come back to the Stafford, whether it be to the American Bar for drinks, or to stay. As a Brit, I find it authentic, traditional and welcoming. The staff are pleasant and helpful and the rooms are charming.

"Your home away from home"

Posted 09-Apr-2016 on Hotels
The Staffords slogan är "Your home away from home" och detta stämmer verkligen. Helt tyst! Kan definitivt rekommenderas å det varmaste!

Canadian travellers in London

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: Excellent location, central and we could walk everywhere or easy walk to the tube.
Wonderful find in Green Park. The staff and service was excellent. Very helpful and the concierge group were so helpful in finding last minute theatre tickets for us. Lovely, quiet room and so close to all the action. The American Bar is iconic...food was good and breakfasts reliable. We have styed at many different London hotels and we would say this is the best by far. We will go back again. Joanne nod Rob

My home away from home in London

Posted 13-Feb-2016 on Hotels
The Stafford is one of the gems of my world of travel. Not as widely known as the other top hotels in London, it never disappoints and often exceeds expectations. The American bar is like a country club lounge or an offshoot of the 21 Club in NYC. However described, it is comfortable and perfect. The best kept secret are the carriage rooms. It's like your private apartment in the heart of Mayfair and St. James. Spend the extra $ or request. It's worth it. Enjoy and thank you, Stafford.
