This was exactly what we needed for ease of convenience. The train station is exactly across the street, short walk from platform to the hotel. The staff was immensely accommodating and friendly.

Convenient to access from King’s Cross station. Beds comfortable, tea and chocolate in room also kettle. Room was two single beds and a double bed. Room really made for only 1 double and one single bed. Barely space to go in between beds. OK for us but would be difficult for elderly people. Downside was room too warm despite radiator switched off and temperature outside around 16. Noisy bathroom and background noise due extraction ventilation which was always on with no switch available. One of cheapest family room around but 160 pounds a bit steep for two stars hotel for one night

Clean, quiet, comfortable beds, and awesome location if you want to be close to St. Pancras train station. The only thing that was hard was the narrow, steep staircases. Everything else was great!

Good location but bathroom too small for a family
Quad basement room technically accommodated 3 adults and a teenager but there was no spare space and the bathroom was teeny tiny and difficult to move let alone get changed in. The kettle also didn’t work but was replaced the second day. Location was very good.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient location opposite King's Cross train station. Room was rather small and tight for 3 beds and 4 people, but as it was just for 1 night, I didn't mind.

The location was great - about half-a-block and across the street from King's Cross - St Pancras. And right on the Piccadilly line - so no need to change trains from London Heathrow airport. The room was small but updated and clean with private bathroom (with shower). I would stay at this hotel again in the future.

Friendly & helpful young lady at front desk. The room & staircase are narrow but you know that beforehand for this type of hotel. The location is terrific, especially if you need the St. Pancras train station which has direct connections to Heathrow and Eurostar. Easy walk also to the British Museum. I likely will stay here again upon a return trip to London.

Stayed here before an early train out of King’s Cross. Great location, helpful staff, and the beds were sooo comfy! The bathrooms are a bit small, but other than that it was great! Highly recommend!

Good for a quick stay in Central London
Very central location, room fine for 1-2 night stay, clean. Room is small which is normal for central London. The canal in the bathroom smelled which I think is to be expected in an old building. Quality/price ratio was good. Staff (Jake) was very helpful!

I hope to come back!
We loved this place! Charming, unique, comfy, great location, and great service. Jake was super warm & friendly and was quite helpful for about how to get around. Only "complaint" would be that it would be super helpful to put up a shelf or two in the bathroom so there's one of them, and eventually update the bathroom. I will definitely stay here next time I'm in London.

5 stars for this 2 star hotel
I’m giving this hotel 5 stars for a 2-star hotel. Obviously it describes itself as a 2-star hotel (in terms of amenities/services) but as I say, my review takes this into account. For a 2-star hotel, I couldn’t have asked for more. The room, while very small, wasn’t claustrophobic. You could hear a low level of noise from the corridor/other bedrooms, but nothing bad. Also from outside, with the window closed it was absolutely fine. The bathroom and room were as clean as I’d expect from any 4-star hotel. I have no complaints about anything. My only gripe might be that it would’ve been nice to have had a box of facial tissues and a bottle of water in the room. And the bathroom door slams closed, you can’t keep it open without putting the trash can in between, and the shower curtain kind of sticks to you. But these minor gripes aren’t nearly enough to lower my score. The bed sheets were clean, and the bed and pillow were comfortable enough. Now, the service - this is something they should really be proud of. They emailed me in advance, they were very friendly and welcoming, and they made me feel like I would want to return the next time I want a budget hotel in London. I only stayed one night but it was great. A stone’s throw from the Eurostar terminal - the perfect location. I am usually a fairly stingy marker but for this 2-star hotel, it’s 5 stars from me.

I think we got what we expected from this hotel; convenient location, clean but tiny and cramped. The walls are very thin so we were awakened at 4am by an argument above, but it only lasted a minute (I get stressed out too when I have to get up to travel at 4am!) They do offer bag storage but the front desk is only open during the day. Beds were hard.

The staff were great. Our very small room was on the bottom floor. Noise from the office upstairs, the Tube and outside made it nearly impossible to sleep. The bathroom is tiny & the shower was moldy.

Receptionist was lovely and welcoming communal area well kept. However my room had a window facing a courtyard on the same level that was used as a cut through the building and my window did not close. A member of staff barged in apparently to locate a charger and I was in bed, luckily I had put the chain on the door. The water smelt stagnant to the degree I did not make a drink or have a shower. I was too worried about my personal belongings now to leave the room vacant. I had to use the office facilities when I got to work. I did not get a restful night as I was concerned that due to the window my room was not secure.

This is a nice little place to stay if you’re waiting overnight for a train - right across the street from King’s Cross St Pancras. Staff were very friendly and helpful with our bags. The room was good and clean, and one of the few we could find to comfortably fit four people. Good food options in the immediate area that are open until 1:00 am. The street was noisy but that’s the area!
