Property location is great for restaurants, transportation and walkable to some attractions. The building is old and not well maintained, smells old, mold in shower and windows. Very noisy location. Ok for a night stay.

What better place for a pub than right below your room? It was almost always busy downstairs and lots of fun. For how rowdy it can get you won’t hear it from your room. People were reserved in the room for the most part, but I met a few people to explore the city with, and had a really great time. The staff were very personable and friendly. I like how they would take your bags before check in so you didn’t have to lug them around the city all day after travelling. Overall would definitely recommend!

Good location but very noisy even for a dorm. Door unlocks with a loud buzz and the beds are very close together. Can't expect much for the price though. Bring earplugs.

Pros : Great location, friendly receptionist, love the fact there is privacy curtain on each bed. Cons : Rather small toilet/bathrooms, steep stairs (for those who carry tons of luggage), thin walls (you can hear what people doing outside the hall and toilet) Overall it's a nice stay! Would recommend to first timers.

Room was great. Everything appeared Okay except for the nearby workers who seemed to be offloading metal at 6:00am. Was noisy. But that was not their fault and does not always happen I was told. Overall, I would use them again and would recommend

Solid option with convenient train
Stay was close to the Liverpool Street station which has the express train to/from Stansted. The neighborhood is very business focused so you have to get out to find fun stuff but serves it's purpose for a couple of nights.

Great for a night to sleep
You get what you paid. Good enough to just sleep. Not sure they have male/female/mix rooms but next time I’ll choose to stay in female one though. Temp was really good, not too cold or not too warm in the room.

What a lovely surprise to find this room in central London and at such a good price. I stayed in a private double en-suite room and it had everything you would expect from a hotel. I’ll happily return.

Perfect for what I needed. Convenient for the station, room really was excellent with lovely en-suite and small kitchen facility. Staff very friendly and breakfast was fine. Basic enough but more than adequate. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic location if catching a train to Stansted Airport in the morning. However, the 8-bed dorms are quite noisy when people go in and out, I woke up at least 5 times during the night because of loud doors. There are under the bed lockers but you need to bring/buy on the spot your own lock (£4).

Well located tidy hotel
Stayed in double room with en suite. Very clean and tidy and the whole building was modern. The room was very compact but had everything you need including TV, fridge, kettle, towels and shower gel and shampoo. Impressed that they had toothbrushes and toothepaste available for sale at reception. Only gripes were that the duvet was a bit thin and at breakfast there was only one person on duty which meant he was unable to both process half a coach-load of tourists who arrived at 8am and see to my request related to the breakfast. i therefore had to miss breakfast so I could get away to catch my train which was annoying.

Convenient budget accommodation
Excellent location, comfortable one-night stay, clean facilities. It is located above a pub, also at a somewhat large street, but the room was very quiet. Please keep in mind the steep stairs when booking.

Great stay
This was the first hostel I have ever stayed in and I was nervous, once I was settled in I was very happy with my booking. The hostel staff were amazing and super friendly as well as everyone else I met while staying here. Its close to the tube and easy to get to many of the main attractions.

HOstel virgin pleasantly surprised
AS a hostel virgin I was a bit apprehensive staying over a pub,in case of noise, and sharing a room with others, but it was fine and good. The room was quiet and comfortable, and a pull across curtian on the bed, so I felt provate. It was very quiet ( apart from the odd snorer - take ear plugs!) really good showers and really convenient for me as I just needed somwhere to crash whilst working locally.

De locatie is erg centraal en er zijn veel winkels in de buurt, het ligt vlakbij de underground en liverpool station. De douches waren erg krap en er ontbrak een douchegordijn, ook zat er schimmel op het plafond in de douche... Ook zat er een barst in de bril van één van de wc's.

Value for money
Das Hostel liegt zum ersten recht verkehrsgünstig. Man hat je nach Bedarf die freie Wahl zwischen Moorgate oder Liverpool Street, ist beides nur ca 5min zu Fuß. Diverse Buslinien sind noch näher. Check In ist am Tresen vom Pub im Erdgeschoss, dem Flying Horse. Läuft alles sehr entspannt ab. Dann steigt man die Treppe rauf zum eigentlichen Hostel. Dies ist ein Punkt, der tatsächlich Beachtung verdient, weil erstens schmal und zweitens steil. Schweres Gepäck und oder dicker Bauch machen es da nicht einfacher. Die wenigen Zimmer befinden sich in Etage 2 und 3. Meins (4 Betten) war sauber, ausreichend groß. Abschließbare Schränke, Klimaanlage und Vorhänge an den Betten sind vorhanden. Steckdose bzw USB Port zum Laden des Smartphones etc gibt es auch direkt am Bett. Ich fand das Bett bequem und hab immer sehr gut geschlafen. Weder der Pub, noch der sporadische Verkehr haben gestört. Die Toiletten und Duschen waren ebenfalls im allgemeinen tadellos. Gut, ein WC Sitz müsste Stand gestern mal ausgetauscht werden da der Deckel angebrochen ist. Fazit: gemütliches kleines Hostel, sauber, bequem, safe.
