Centrally located, down-on-its-heels

Posted 23-Apr-2017
Pros: Easy access on the Piccadilly line. Breakfast included.
Cons: Cleanliness, plumbing, responsiveness of staff
Location: Easy access on the Piccadilly line, close to South Kensington area
A package deal, but still, when the shower drain was blocked and water overflowed into the hotel room and main hallway, soaking the carpet, it took 2 days and my request to move to another room away from the growing stench. We were handed extra towels the night of the plumbing mess and told there were no rooms available. yucky

Easy access to many sites

Posted 23-Apr-2017
Pros: Conveniently located. Nice breakfast offered.
Cons: Add a tiny luggage in the tiny room.
Location: Nice restaurants and transportation near by.
The Gloucester tube station is just a block away. Use the tube to get to many sites. Nice neighborhood. Tiny, single rooms.

Nice hotel. Perfect location to explore London.

Posted 21-Apr-2017
Standard rooms are small but manageable. Bathrooms are spacious. Entire hotel is exceptionally clean. Great WiFi. The hotel provides a local smart phone with data for your use free of charge. The hotel is in an excellent neighbourhood. Steps to the Gloucester tube station, lots of good restaurants to choose from in easy walking distance and there's a great grocery store and pharmacy right near the tube station. I'd recommend it highly to anyone.

Lovely hotel in quiet neighborhood

Posted 21-Apr-2017
We really enjoyed being so close to the Gloucester Road tube station. It made getting around the city so easy and quick. The hotel is quiet and in a very nice neighborhood with great cafes and restaurants. We especially enjoyed Hereford Arms a few blocks away for their traditional English ales and classic foods like scotch egg, roasts and puddings. The room itself was smaller than expected but we had so many sights to see that it really was just a place to sleep and wash up. We would stay there again but will likely upgrade to a larger room. The staff was friendly and while we didn't have any special requests, they were kind enough to hold our luggage after check out so we could have lunch before heading to the airport for our flight back to the US. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is there was a loud banging noise above our room that we guessed is a door in a hallway that people use at all hours of the night. It woke us up at 1:00, 2:00 and even 3:00 am each night. It sounded like someone dropped a bowling ball on the floor. If possible, the door really needs a soft-closing mechanism. Otherwise we would have slept well. The bathroom was nice and the rainfall shower head was enjoyable. All in all, we had a very nice stay.

Good location

Posted 21-Apr-2017
The hotel location was great. Close to the station and couple of museums. We were probably unlucky that we got allocated a room with access in the stairwell away from the rest of the rooms. The hairdryer was not working and the air conditioning was super loud, so we couldn't use either the whole 5 days we were there. Apart from that the room was clean and decent value for the price we paid.

Family trip to London

Posted 20-Apr-2017
We stayed at the Park International in April 2017, myself and my 3 kids ages 7-11. Booked through Expedia, we were upgrade to family suite, friendly and helpful staff, wifi inc, breakfast also including which was a good buffet in the basement dining room. Location is 250m from Gloucester RD tube. Rooms very nicely decorated, sofa, armchair, plus mobile device you can take out with you for phone calls, guide, maps. Within 1 km of Natural history museum and good restaurants just around the corner. Very good choice. I'd def stay there again. Steve NZ

Great hotel at a great price!

Posted 11-Apr-2017
Pros: Location, food, comfort and it had a room on the first floor labeled "Secrets"! I still don't know what's in there.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
Location: Within a 15 minute walk...Harrods, Hyde Park, Kensington Palace, Royal Albert Hall/Memorial,History Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum, Notting Hill...
The Park International was a great hotel and it came in at a very affordable price for London. I definitelly recommend purchasing the breakfast. It's a true English Breakfast buffet with plenty of options and a friendly staff. The hotel was extremely clean and the rooms were a good size (all things considered for being in Europe). The concierge was extremely helpful, even making calls on our behalf when a tour group was running late picking us up. The hotel is right around the corner from a major tube station, walking distance to several major museums, parks and palaces and it even has a great little grocery store around the corner for those late night snacks when you're too tired to run to a pub. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great deal in a great neighborhood of London.

good location

Room very very small. Bed not big enough for two. Noise from traffic, very noisy corridor. Coffee good. Clean room though tired. Staff in dining room great, it was just ok. I feel not value for money.

Everything we needed at this hotel

Posted 06-Apr-2017
Room was perfect-- a large closet with shelves and hangers. A small fridge that allowed us to provide our own breakfast. The hotel does have breakfast if you desire. 3 minute walk to the tube, the grocery stores and a laundromat. Restaurants within walking distance. The concierge on each shift was extremely helpful and made our trip successful. We are going home from London and are staying here again for 2 nights.
