Sterile, but convenient
The hotel is located at the end of a somewhat cold business area with few amenities. However, the Paddington Station is but a 5-10 minute walk away where you can find more things that you need. I only stayed one night with a plan to catch the Heathrow Express in the AM. For that it was perfectly suited. The overall design is clean and modern, but lacks character. There looked to be plenty of things for the kids to do so it would be a good place for families, but feels much more like a business hotel.
The room was comfortable and the double glass kept any of the highway and rail noise at bay.
Breakfast had everything and the dining area did not feel crowded despite the number of people. Staff was attentive and the food seemed fresh.
The only real negative was that I was given an accessible room. They gave me the option to change to a normal one which I should have done as the shower in the accessible room soaked the entire floor and had all sorts of hardware, which, while absolutely required for those who need it, was a bother for someone like me who did not. This is hardly a fault of theirs, but something to be aware of.
