Dirty rooms rude stuff couldn't spleep during stay

No Bentley no service. No friendlinesss & warmth

As we arrived there was a Bentley car in front of us whom the doormen helped the guests. As we parked in front these 2 doormen completely ignored us & were talking to each other. No offer of help as they could see my husband & i were struggling to go through the revolving door. I suppose no Bentley no service.We upgraded our room as we are celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary so why not treat ourselves. No complimentary bottled water to be found in the room.. There were only 3 little sachets of milk not even enough for the afternoon tea or coffee let alone the following morning so went to find the housekeeper outside our room with whom we requested for more. Nothing came so checked outside the room where another staff who I asked again for more milk. She was not really happy & no warmth & friendliness. Bath towels were old & not soft to he skin & rather in the small size. The shower head could do with replacing with a new one as one could see dirt & blockage. The bottled water came the following morning..Each time we passed through the front entrance door the staff seemed less friendly. We thought as it was a milestone celebration, we would book Hilton at Park Lane for a treat plus next to the Dorchester for our champagne afternoon tea joined by our sons.Check in staff was friendly though. Overall it was a disappointment particularly with the service, the lack of friendliness & warmth. It was a pity that we did not feel anything special apart from the location.

Shower head didnt work properly, bedside light was loose and fell out, the towel rail fell off in bathroom, disnt even get complimentary bottle of water for the room

Upgraded and really wish I saved my money . For the cost you can surely get a hotel in london so much better .

Central location but lacks character

Location: Central location with everything at fingertips!
I generally stay at Hilton whenever i travel and I was a little surprised by this hotel. The breakfast was no where near as good as other Hilton's and i had to wait a good 10 min for an omelet and they didn't even get the ingredients correct! The room on the executive floor had a whirling wind sound which i only discovered around 2 am and 'although' i could 'change' my room, who really wants to get up, change and complain and move rooms at this time? The water that is usually complementary wasn't in the room when I checked in and was added much later in the evening as if the room had not been properly prepared. The good news that when i checked out, it seems the staff took notes and said they'd look into the complaints but will most likely stay at the other Hilton or even consider trying a competitor, although I generally like the other one and especially the bfast!

Great Facilities, Great Staff, big fail on comfort

This hotel looks good, has great staff and overall feels like a nice place to stay. The beds however, are a joke and not worth the money you have to pay. I started in the 'king' size deluxe room I ordered only to find two broken down twins that were absolutely uncomfortable. The great staff at the front desk upgraded me to a smoking exec suite (the smell was pretty bad the first night) but I was not surprised to find it also contained a so-called 'king' that was two old twins. At the price point I came in on -- I would expect better mattresses. Everything else was quite amazing--so it was shocking to find such lackluster comfort.
