The windowsill had mould atound it as did the shower, the decor was dirty eg walls and windowsill, ceiling had paint coming off it, there was dust around the headboard, the room was far to small for two people, subtitles on the television couldnt be turned off, the underneath sheet had stains on them, there was only one pillow in the room per bed, the stairs were too steep in places and didnt have hand rails for you to help you up with, we waited 10 mins or more, ringing the bell for receptionist to come, totally unacceptable accommodation. Worst place we have ever srayed in.

The hotel was in a convenient location being just a 5 minute walk from Paddington station. The staff were friendly and helpful and even recommended some nice places to eat around London. We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend people to stay here.

It was amazing but i wish if the bed was a little bit softer its feels like im sleep on the floor. I had one issue it was the room next to me the guy was drunk and loud i couldn't sleep at all but he left the next day so i had a good night sleep the next day

I had a 1-year-old baby, the room was all dusty, it looked like it had been repaired recently, the door and the furniture had white paint on it, I had to clean it myself, it was very easy to remove the white paint on the furniture with a wet napkin, there was still dust on the shelves in the closet, clear that the rooms were not cleaned. now my suggestion is to wear a disposable hat when changing bed linen! there was very visible hair on the bed, I don't understand how it could not be seen.

Cold and dirty
We stayed in November, so it was cold outside, and exactly the same in the room. There was a heater that didn’t work, there was a very light blanket instead of a duvet and verrrry thing pillows. I barely got any sleep I was so uncomfortable and cold. There was mold/first around the windows and the bathroom didn’t look fresh. In the morning after I had put water in the kettle, the tap and shower didn’t turn on. After a while we got a bit of a trickle, but as we were at the very top and there was no lift and just a tonne of of narrow stairs (was not good for my asthma), we dealt with it and then checked out as soon as we could. We were incredibly tired for our day in London after our stay. Honestly awful.

The room was very clean and tidy, plenty of tea and coffee, lovely toiletries. Only downside, we where on the top floor there was no lift. The stairs where very narrow in places and there was a lot of them. Would definitely stay again though, but I would request a room on a lower floor.

Rooms are too small, we clicked on site that we wanted both rooms next to each other because we were with parents but we got one room on third floor nd second one in basement. Basement room wasn’t clean i guess because I found durex condom box and a condom I complained on reception desk but said sorry, pictures on site and actual rooms itself are huge different to see.

Recommend staying somewhere else
The room was tiny with tiny beds with just a tiny space between those beds. The bathroom was tiny. There was no air conditioning, just a fan. Needed to sleep with the window open and fan blowing. The stay was not comfortable. I walked by many better hotels each day between the train station and Glendale. If I could, I would have stayed one of those hotels instead.

Room was very hot and did not even stay during the heatwave. only 1 pillow each and when asked for more, was refused. room not very clean, hairs on doors, razor blade on the floor, mould on curtains. Put in a room next to a loud drainage system that would not stop. Also only 1 cup for a 2 person stay. You are provided with a fan however very loud and irritating so can not keep on for more than 30 minutes at a time. stayed in a double bed room, more like a 3/4 bed. However shower was nice and you are provided with a kettle and some refreshments and very nice surrounding area.

The property is in a good location. Very small room, the room was cold and heating didn't work. The resident pigeons made noise constantly it seems there is a nest there. The curtains too small for the room meaning you are visible to outside. Not many additional facilities.

This hotel is VERY basic. It is clean with your own bath and the location is excellent. This is not a destination hotel with lots of extras; it does not have an elevator or air conditioning. I recommend this for healthy adults who are planning to tour London and need a clean place to sleep and shower.

Pros and Cons- you get what you pay for
I read the reviews prior to booking and expected small rooms and a loud building, so I felt prepared for some of the drawbacks of a lower-cost hotel considering the higher prices of nearby hotels in the area. While the rooms weren't as small as I was expecting and it wasn't as loud as I thought it would be (I wore earplugs), there were a few issues with cleanliness. My sister's pillow had a large blood stain on it under the pillow-case which was quickly replaced, and my sheets had little fuzzballs all over them from use. There was a large crack with a brown water stain on the ceiling, black spots in the bathroom ceiling, and mould in the shower with a slow drain and water that didn't get very hot. The beds were also very uncomfortable because they were super firm, so we did not sleep well. They did have fantastic service as the reviews mentioned, and the check-in process was easy. We appreciated how close the location was to Paddington and the Central line, but would likely not recommend this hotel or revisit due to our experience.

The water stopped working mid shower and when I complained to reception they were very unhelpful about the situation. I had to check out early to go home to have a proper shower with running water. I couldn’t wash my hands or the soap off my body for around 30mins which is frankly unacceptable.
