Not only is this in an amazing location, but the hotel is super clean, the suite we stayed in was even bigger than expected and the staff was super friendly and very helpful! If we ever come back this is where we want to stay!

Great Location

Posted 13-Oct-2017
Pros: The location!
Cons: More amenities in the room.
Location: Within walking distance to many sites, including the London Eye, Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace, London Bridge.
This was somewhat a minimal room and they tell you that It is like renting a efficiency apartment. But it's location more than makes up for that. And as an added bonus they supply you with a cell phone with data for your stay. You can call the US and 20 countries using the phone.

Old, run-down, gloomy

Posted 03-Oct-2017
Pros: Customer service at the counter.
Cons: The rooms seriously needs an upgrade. Very old, dull, gloomy.
Though location-wise it's pretty good but, I did not feel comfortable staying there. It felt like I'm holed up in a small prison. The picture advertised is definitely far from it and does not look like that. It's actually run-down, very gloomy dim lights and fairly dirty. I wouldn't dare to use the facility in the room (yellow/brown stains) - stove, bowls etc. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned for a long time and I kept fearing of encountering cockroaches. Like a run-down apartment. The bedsheet wasn't great either, it's "itchy" and very thin. Overall, not a quality place to stay. If you're on a tight budget and then it's bearable however, I honestly wouldn't recommend anyone staying there. It's definitely not a 4star + accommodation. It should be roughly 2 - 2.5. Customer service was good and the lobby was presentable. They really need to update all the rooms.

Dear Aon, Thank you for your comments following your recent stay at the Citadines Trafalgar, I appreciate the time you have taken to share your experiences on this site. Naturally your comments are deeply concerning to both myself and my team, who all share a passion for great customer service. Please be assured your experience is completely incongruous, as many reviews on this site demonstrate. It is always advisable to request a room move if thhe allocated room is unsatisfactory. The reception team are more than willing to assist in a room move. I can only hope you will give us another opportunity in the near future to change your opinion of our product and services. Excellent location!!!

Posted 27-Sep-2017
Located very close to Trafalgar Square, the Citadines was a very good place to stay in London. It is a very central location, close to many restaurants, tour buses, the tube and taxis We had a one bedroom apartment, which was very comfortable. It had a full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and stovetop. It also had one machine that was a combination washer and dryer.

Excellent location

Posted 26-Sep-2017
Pros: Location and kitchenettes in the larger rooms.
Cons: Nothing
Location: The Citadines is located one block from Trafalgar Square and the underground. Very close to Covent Garden, Soho walk to Buckingham Palace-plus more
The Citadines is an apart'l (hotel room with kitchenette). It is located one block from Trafalgar Square and the underground. Very close to Covent Garden, Soho and the theatre area. The rooms are large by Europe standards, breakfast is available for an additional charge (well worth the cost) and very clean. Because Citadines is an apart'l, daily room service is an extra charge, however, you are welcome to get new towels everyday from the front desk. If staying for four or more days, they do a regular cleaning. I don't need the daily service, otherwise I would pay the additional small charge. I have also stayed in their two bedroom suites a couple of times when we brought our children to London, very nice for families. Can't say enough positive things-always have had a wonderful stay!

Very nice, clean hotel. Staff was great.

Posted 25-Sep-2017
Staff was extremely helpful. Upgraded us when we got there, room was very nice. Breakfast was a nice complimentary surprise and good. Overall a great hotel only drawback for us was location. We like to be within walking distance of the main attractions so it was a little out of the way to walk, but could still uber or catch a cab. Even a little market around the corner to grab food and take back to the room.
