Hospitality is excellent as standard of Citadines. Clean, spacious, good service. The location is close to St Paul Cathedral, in front of the main street which is easy for us to find transportation. Thank you.

Upon check-in I was asked to register for all sorts of things via a QR code, seemingly unnecessarily. This process took nearly ten minutes to complete. It seems that I had to create an online account to check-in, which is some sort of nonsense. Otherwise, everything was perfectly pleasant, the room was comfy and clean. I only stayed one night so cannot comment on other facilities.

Super clean, safe, friendly and helpful staff, big rooms and bathrooms, close to the tube and direct to Heathrow and most of the other airports. There is a street food market mon-fri about a three minute walk away. Barbican center is right by. They have a gym at the hotel and you can also use class pass and go to the gym across the street that has a pool and sauna. They have free pastries in the morning from 8-10 and free coffees all day. They let me check in 4 hours early.

Nice place, well located for anything around the Barbican. Really liked the fact it had a kitchenette in there and if I was to come to London consistently I would book again because of this.

Excellent service, we were allowed to check in a little earlier as we had an early flight. Room had excellent size, personnel were kind and courteous. The area is pretty well connected by multiple train stations and felt walkable and safe.

Good one night stay
Checking in was easy, receptionist was very friendly. Room was smaller than I expected, but fine for one night. Strange arrangement for laundry, had to book at reception and pay for washer and dryer. Huge industrial size equipment for a small load. Setting for dryer was Hot only although I had set it for Medium. Coffee machine in the lobby was 'out of order' in the morning, sincere apologies were offered by multiple members of staff.

Night staff should be solution oriented and try to help guest with problems. Change of room, parking and cleanliness of fridge was my issues. Overall I would say the staff was friendly and the hotel was clean but issues were not addressed with urgency.

Hotel receptionist was very friendly and hotel was good , had everything we needed including bottled water . Only thing that let it down was that we didn’t get our twin beds we asked for when we did the reservation. We got a single bed put into the room but I had to join ASR in order to get it for free. But we got given a free take away breakfast which was a nice gesture.

Room smelled terrible
I stay at Citadines Barbican regularly. This trip was disappointing as the room had a terrible chemical smell (room 515) which seemed to be coming from the curtains strangely. Unfortunately due to early starts and late finishes at work I didn’t have a chance to ask them to change me to a different room. Until room 515 is smelling better, I won’t stay in that room again !

The room was nice we were very well looked after by reception staff. Very close to Barbican tube station and walking distance to St Paul’s cathedral
