"I felt very welcomed by everyone, lovely staff, great breakfast, the parking was gratefully appreciated. My bedroom was lovely but due to previous heatwaves, the room was very warm due to its 300 yr old construction, I opened the window for cooler air which helped a bit.
Hope to return again."

What a fantastic place to stay! We received a very warm welcome and everyone was so kind and accommodating. Our room was wonderfully comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is so peaceful and scenic and we had a view of the river from our window.
Breakfast was delicious and we also enjoyed a great evening meal. I appreciated the variety of vegetarian and vegan options available.
We would definitely love to stay here again if we visit the area.

There is a cosy bar area and reception as you walk in to the guest house , this leads into a lovely restaurant section where the food is absolutely great and is quiet renown amongst the locals.
Going further into the Old Priory there is a party reception/dance floor doubling up as a games room with a pool table darts and other games , also a seated area with TV available.
then you come to the rooms which are laid out on two levels , these are bright and spacious rooms and over look the Towy...

The welcome was great, and the food, drink and atmosphere was very good. There's not much immediately around it that I could find to do, but to be fair I didn't look that hard as it was a business trip. Would happily stay again.

The staff were professional, relaxed and friendly. The accommodation was excellent, the facilities brilliant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Llety Cynin to anyone.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which area of Llangeler is best to stay in for cheap hotels?
For budget-conscious solo travellers looking for cheap hotels in Llangeler, focusing on areas just outside the immediate village centre, or exploring options in nearby larger towns like Newcastle Emlyn or Carmarthen, will generally yield the most affordable accommodation. Llangeler itself is a small rural village, so dedicated "cheap hotels" in the conventional sense are less common; instead, you'll find more guesthouses, B&Bs, and self-catering cottages.
Solo travellers might find good value in smaller, independently run guesthouses a short drive from Llangeler, offering a more personal touch without the higher price tag of larger establishments. These often include breakfast, further reducing daily expenses. Exploring options in Newcastle Emlyn, just a few miles away, provides access to a wider selection of small hotels and B&Bs, often at more great prices due to the slightly larger market. This town also offers local shops and eateries, providing convenient and affordable dining choices.
Alternatively, looking towards Carmarthen, a larger town about 20-30 minutes' drive away, offers a broader range of budget hotels, including some well-known chains often favoured by solo travellers for their consistent pricing. While it requires a bit more travel to reach Llangeler, the savings on accommodation and the wider choice of amenities in Carmarthen might make it a worthwhile trade-off for those prioritising budget.
