"For anyone wanting to "get away from it all" this provides a unique opportunity. No phone signal and no internet in the area where the Shepherd huts are situated provides perfect peace. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, and superbly functional, everything you need is here. In an area which is very close to the Beacons National Park, close enough for access and far enough away from the "beaten tourist path" to offer solitude and peace and quiet. The local town of Llangadog offers places...

"We stayed in the farm bouse in the end, it was amazing and so nice, lynne was an amazing host and made it so special for my sister 40th birthday! Will be coming back!!"

"Hosts were great and lovely and friendly. The hut was very cosy and warmed quickly with the log fire. It's worth noting there's no electricity on site, except a solar powered shared kitchen area and a few solar charged auto lights. The log burner gives off plenty of heat but not much light. A torch would be VERY beneficial. You're on site with lots of animals around which is brilliant for kids and like staying on a farm. Just be wary fly's in the hut can be a problem if doors' windows are left...

"Stayed here with friends. My daughter and friends loved the hot tub. It was a real hit with everyone. Unfortunately no working tv, but the visit to Hay and lovely setting with hot tub and outdoor fire (wood provided) kept us busy. Would definitely recommend."

"Lovely location, very spacious property with amazing spaces. Kitchen spacious and well equipped. Beds comfortable. bathrooms good. Great bonus as it wasn’t exactly “flaming June” was the snooker table, especially for the youngsters , there were many challenging matches! Outside facilities were great but because of the weather not uses apart from table tennis and basketball net. Plenty to see and do only a short drive away."

"The location is wonderful and the cottage was exceptional - roomy and with everything you could want. Daniela and John are lovely hosts - there for a chat and to help if required but also left you yourself if that’s what you wanted. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay."
