If you fancy a historicalstroll then follow the sign from beside the Lion Hotel which leads to the siteof Builth Castle which was once a mighty Edwardian fortress. Although allthat's left is a series of mounds, ditches and earthworks the views of the townand river are fantastic and provide a tranquil alternative to the high streetdown in the town below.
