The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was nice and good value and it is in a great location for exploring the town and the Brecon Beacons national park. We paid £47 for a Sunday night which was exceptional value. At this price, you can overlook the hotel being a little tired in places."

The only thing was having to walk from their car park to the hotel which wasn’t very well signed but in all fairness was I could have read about this before checking in. Staff were amazing and so very friendly. They were happy to help and offer advice throughout the stay. Dinner and breakfast was lovely. Cocktails great and overall a beautiful stay - if I could have stayed an extra night I would have done. Our room was up in the rafters and was superb. A twin bedded room with everything you needed. The beds and pillows were lush! The bathroom was fabulous but I didn’t get a chance to use the bath unfortunately! Amazing views of the valley from the hotel and right next door to devils bridge and water falls - stunning location. Thanks so much for the best stay last weekend."

The food the night before was tasty enough, and the beer was very well kept. Very friendly staff. I was even able to take a shower after my ride, even though it went beyond the check out time. Comfy bed. Shower was nice and warm, even though it was a bit leaky. Room was a bit tired, but like I said, I wasn't after 5 star, and for the price it was perfectly fine."
