This is a lovely old hotel that reminds me of old style fishing hotels I used to stay in when I was a kid and every river had a number of hotels that made a good living from visiting anglers. Unfortunately the days of relying on angling trade are gone, but this place retains the same feel and sense of peace and quiet that I used to love.
The food was really nice and the lady that served it was lovely and very attentive.
I will make a point of staying there whenever so am in the area and next...

Great location, very friendly and helpful owner (Steve), excellent facilities and very comfortable holiday home ….with 7 days of 20+ temperatures and wall to wall sunshine ! …only very slight negative being that the windows could prob do with a better clean given the great views.
Steve’s recommendation of the Seven Stars at Aberedw about 2 miles away was also excellent…nothing fancy about the food but very tasty, good portions and a really nice environment in a community owned country pub.

Last minute booking, the room was exactly what we needed, and kids room separated from main room was perfect, lovely place and the gentleman running it was polite, respectful, friendly and helpful couldn't ask for more would definitely stay again. Breakfast was brilliant set up for the day.

Stayed a year ago and re-booked for this year. Just one night stay, but the service is excellent, and we would like to have a longer stay next time. Our host is very helpful, and the breakfast is just what you need. Our room was comfortable, and the bed is lovely. Might bring the dogs next time to enjoy the countryside.

Free parking available however it gets busy in the evening because the people those who are coming to pub also use the same carpark.
The hotel situated in a great location. Aldi and Tesco Extra are few minutes walking distance. Curry house and kebab shops are close too.
