On arrival, the front of the property was not appealing. On entry into the property and going up to the first floor, where our room was, floor 1, apartment 11, the building had some lovely old features. The railings and the windows, very Victorian so it gained more appeal. On entry into our apartment, on first glance it was satisfactory. The decor looked nice and amenities/facilities seemed adequate. We wanted an apartment rather than a hotel room to give us more space and freedom. Unfortunately, the laminate flooring was filthy. Our feet when we showered were black. One of the plug sockets near the mirror did not work so we could not dry & straighten our hair at the same time, it was one or the other. The shower screen had an inch gap so the water was constantly leaking all over the floor, making it very slippery. The bath itself was very slippery so we brought a bath mat for inside the bath for grip. There was no ventilation in the room other than a floor standing fan, which we had to have running at night because it was so hot. Our main gripe was the noise. Our apartment overlooked Matthew Street and The Cavern Club. Great location however, you could not get to sleep as the music only stopped when the last person left. So it went on until 3am most nights. I would certainly not recommend this property or return for that matter. Very dissapointing stay.

The communication regarding the check in was very poor. The front desk is unmanned between 5pm-8pm, this is just the period when business travellers need to check in!!. I was informed by expedia to call a number, I did, was told that someone had tried to call me in work, couldn't get hold of me so I would have to wait until 8pm. The person from Terlon apartments was terse, bordering on rude and very uncompromising. The room however, was very nice, good location, with cheap parking nearby, so I would commend that. The person on reception was much nicer, apologised for my check in issues (another business traveller was in the same position as me!) and did his best to remedy the situation. The rooms are good, but the problems with check n mean I would not return to stay.

In short, we didn’t stay. We arrived in at 6pm, heard the loud music, went for dinner, came back to louder music at 9pm and decided to leave. We would have gotten zero sleep. I was there with my 14yo son for the football. We asked if we could move room, the security guard couldn’t help. The place was clean but it was a little tired. If you’re there to party, stay there - it’s a great location. But if you aren’t, stay somewhere else I did send feedback by email to the venue by email and heard nothing back.

Good location but noisy outside due to bars etc. Bed was a bigger than the base so mattress was hanging off one side. Not much room to use the sink as the cupboard above was blocking use, also hot water ran out in shower so it was a cold shower for one of us.

Washing machine didn’t work, and we needed it so it was a big issue for us. We purposely booked a place with a washing machine so not happy! Heated towel rail in bathroom did not work so the bathroom was very cold. Disappointing to have paid for sub standard experience.

Wouldn’t stay again now
We’ve stayed here before and enjoyed it . But this room we was allocated wasn’t no where near as up to standard . Firstly the door wouldnt allow us to open it it kept getting stuck . Then There was no heating so we had to use a mini portable heating that then smelt of burning . The bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed or even lock. The wall paper was hanging off the walls too . The bed is really springy so isn’t very comfy to sleep on and we was only given one flat pillow each. The sofa isn’t a sofa it’s a hard bench style sofa so again the comfort wasn’t there. We’ve stayed here a few times and usually get an ok experience but this time round we haven’t enjoyed it or felt it was up to standard of normal

I will start with the positives. These apartments are really central. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful. The studio apartment was clean. The negatives the bed was really really uncomfortable and the noise ...well being so close to Mathew street i expected a bit of noise but this was on a different level. We didn't end up staying the night as we would not have slept at all.

We were there for The Open. The apartment was a great size for us. Shower was a tad on the small size. Location was amazing. We could get to transportation, dining, clubs, tours, etc. very easily. We look forward to returning to Liverpool!

Too noisy. Uncomfortable. Needs some TLC. Room 21.
Arrived to banging music and Karaoke which continues to 4am underneath. Kitchen door hanging off hinges. No wifi. Found a long black hair in my bed. Stains on duvet cover. Could feel every spring in mattress. Slept (or tried to sleep) fully clothed on top of duvet but could still feel springs.

Location, location, location!
The room and building was beautiful. Had a really great stay. Location was perfect for us. Two issues though; 1. We was not told about the hot water tank situation. The tank was empty by the time my partner went to get a shower only it was freezing cold water. This resulted in not being able to shower. This should have been communicated before hand so we was prepared. 2. I requested a romantic package which entails a bottle of presseco, strawberries, flowers and late check out only we not to keen on presecco so we asked for a cake as a substitute. I’m not sure what I was expecting but I wasn’t expecting a tesco branded caterpillar cake for our 10 years anniversary.

I stayed here while I attended an event at the arena. The host (Evie) was great at communcating before and during my arrival: she kept things running smoothly, and professionally accomodated my late-arriving train situation. The flat itself was very clean and exactly what I needed for a quick trip. If I were staying longer, I wouldl have been able to use the ample amenities for self-catering. A great option, and I'd happily come back the next time I'm in Liverpool!

Terlon apts was close to everything that we wanted to see. The Cavern Club is two minutes away from the entrance doors.Albert Docks just a ten minute walk. If I ever come back to Liverpool, this is where I will be staying.

It was very Central, a lovely hotel, staff wer friendly. Just a shame about the 3/4 bed base having a double mattress on top which clearly didnt fit. Also there was no plinth board on bottom of shower.
