The Bat area had been updated and very nice the Bedroom i had Number 16 was not up to the standard you would expect to pay £60 a night for !!!

The property is very tired with outdated fixtures and fittings Couldn’t run a bath or shower without assistance from my husband as the tap was so stiff I couldn’t move it Couldn’t get the tv to work Positives Room size was large as got upgraded to a family room Receptionist on duty was very lovely Room was quiet and a good temperature

Was given one room that wasnt cleaned, so was given another room, receptionist and another staff were very accommodating and sorted the other room and moved a single bed in for us out of the first room.

The decoration in the room is very poor Drip runs down most of the walsha Dirty paintwork from Apollo age and dirt Bathroom very out dated Mould on some of the tiles Who room need an full makeover Very disappointed

Comfortable 2 night stay
Staff helpful. Comfortable night's sleep, excellent breakfast. Had dinner there one night too which was cheap and cheerful, although there are other places nearby. Good road links and close to the station for the Wirral line into Chester/Liverpool, so super convenient.

There is two car parking which made us confusion. Outdoor lighting is required to the entry of the reception from the car park. No full English breakfast which made us disappointed, but it is understandable for H&S. The facilities need refurbishment due to a bit of tired.

Fantastic value for family accommodation with very friendly and helpful staff in all areas. Brilliantly situated on 1x bus route into Liverpool day ticket jump on off £5 /24 hours. Very comfortable clean rooms

Room smelled badly of damp and the accommodation was kind of grim. My room probably didn't get used much and was just benefitting from the Open Golf happening nearby.

Been to the hotel previously. Whilst the room was clean it could well do with a lot of modernisation. Tiles in bathroom cracked and grouting dirty. Signs of leaking in a lot of places throughout the hotel. Really dirty light fittings in restaurant above tables. Staff friendly and food was lovely

Great stay , over 2 nights .. food was outstanding on all levels , breakfast and evening meal , the overall place needs a bit of TLC maintenance wise however this did not affect the stays- will book again if in the area

Never stay at this hotel
The food was not good burnt sausage no flavour chicken was dry and tasteless no steak on mixed grill overall really disappointed will not be returning the room needs total makeover blood on radiator didn’t matter because it didn’t work holes in the walls marks all over the walls bathroom was discussing cracked sink shower not fixed to the wall properly.

Great place to stay
Having stayed in some of the other branded hotels in the area this by far is the best. The most comfortable bed I have sleep in and a very spacious room. The pub attached sells very tasty and reasonably priced food. Overhead a great stay and have booked again for my next trip to the area.

Lovely people, lovely breakfast. Room was tired and dated. Facilities not great, rooms far too hot, wifi doesn’t stretch to all of the rooms. Well located if working on The Wirral. Essentially an outdated Travelodge.

Mid week family stay to see friends.
We had booked three rooms for 4 adults. Our room 33 had no soap at either sink or in the shower in the wall mounted tubes- In these covid times this seems a basic need that the hotel failed on, surely its on all housekeeping check lists these days! Whilst all rooms were clean the hotel is tired with many ceiling tiles marked and stained by leaks from above and carpets needing replacement. Reception area also needs a refit. While we were there they were patch repairing the tarmacadam surfacing in the car park outside our window with vibrating compactor plate very noisy from 09:00!
