Hotel is located in a small village. I felt like the hotel isn't sure if it wants to be a small friendly place or something much grander. I visited in December and the hotel was ridiculously hot. There was even a fan in my room. I slept with one of the windows open, which was a huge mistake as somewhere outside, there was a loud fan that switched on and off every 30 minutes. Also, Lavaza coffee cups but sachets of coffee that are clearly from the nearest cash and carry - bit cheap for this type of hotel. On the upside, staff are great and breakfast was wonderful. The only dinner options were from their Christmas menu (£30), so I ate at the pub down the road. If you get a room for less than £80, then worth it. Anything more, save your money.
