Stayed here many times in various rooms. Always spotless and comfortable.

We stayed at the Fox for 1 night and the staff made us and our dog feel very welcome. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Thank you all at the Fox. We’ll hopefully see you again.

Cannot fault this Hotel, the staff and amenities were excellent. Highly recommend it.

Charming historic building but inside there was a modern hotel with clean and comfortable, well-maintained rooms. It also has ample parking. There is a pleasant bar area and restaurant. They served a good buffet breakfast with a range of food to suit all tastes (fruit, yoghurt, cereals, bread/toast, pastries, cold meats and cheeses and also a full cooked breakfast). This is an hotel with a few guest rooms, and a nice gastropub. The room was excellent, modern, spacious, clean, warm, tastefully decorated. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was spacious, clean, modern, including bath and shower. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was super Quirky points were (i) TV could be turned on to home page, but a message read that the signal was not strong enough to connect to any channel (I used my laptop instead) (ii) liquid soap container fixed to the shower wall was...

The Host was extremely good at communicating, we had a small problem upon arrival which was very promptly resolved. The perfect stopover before our holidays really started.

We come here quite regularly. Staff are getting to know us. The staff are frienly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The meals are really good. Location is brilliant. Cant fault the hotel

Ambiance as soon as I walked through the main entrance. Room was spacious and the shower was simple to use and easy to regulate the temperature, which is not always that easy in other hotels. The only minor blip was the bathroom door opened inwards in front of the the wash basin, so you had to then close the door to access the basin.

Wonderful to stay in a traditional hotel with history over several centuries instead of purpose built concrete and metal box. Restaurant was ideal mix of Indian and English cuisine. Room comfortable with biscuits include with tea/coffee. Would prefer skimmed milk to whole [never drink whole] but happy to drink black. TV good with radio 4 included.
