"Lovely old cottage, furnished well with a nice kitchen having everything you need for eating in (except for a sieve or collander). Clay tiles on ground floor make the floor cold so bring slippers in low season. Some very low beams so tall people beware. Couldn't light the gas fire though. Surprised to find slow-moving bees on window sills or on floor each day when returning from day out."

A friendly welcome from the host shortly after arrival who gave us really useful info on the local area etc. The barn itself is perfect and gives you everything you'd need for the perfect break. "The property is well equipped and spacious. Price was a little over £75. Per person per night. You couldn’t hire a beach hut for that! A small suggestion would be to add handrails to garden steps and steps to kitchen could be boxed in and carpet tread added,my little dog had an issue getting up and down them , plus a coat of white paint to bedroom furniture. But that’s nit picking. All in all a relaxed and pleasant stay Thank you ,Chiara and Rob ."

"It was a lovely gated community , safe and serene surrounded by nature . A bit far from train station though if you don’t have a car . Harold wood station is 9 minutes drive where you can catch the Elizabeth Line . The only concern was that a fob should be given to long term guests to get in and out of the main gate , that was a hassle . Otherwise I would highly recommend this stay ."
