"The Crossroads Hotel is in a great area. It is a 5 minute walk to the Streetcar. Lots of restaurants around. The room we stayed in was beautiful and very clean. Beds and pillows were very comfy. We got upgraded to an atrium room because our standard room had not been cleaned. Unfortunately, they had a wedding reception in the atrium that was very loud until 11pm. The bar was also very loud. If you plan to stay at the hotel on the weekend, I would suggest reserving a room as far away as you can...

"A lovely property very close to the Nelson-Atkins Museum and Country Club Plaza. Sunroom and outdoor patio seating would be nice for leisure time. Clean, well-kept property. Mattress was too soft and foam-rubber pillow too hard for my taste. This inn is not staffed. If you enjoy interacting with local people in the person of desk clerks, or if you like seeing other guests, this is probably not the place for you. You let yourself in the back door using a code, let yourself in to your room...

"Such an amazing old property. Rich history with quaint vibes. We were hoping for some paranormal activity, but nothing happened. We will definitely stay again and hope that it happens next time! Great staff that are super friendly."

"We were there for our anniversary, booked the king room with the jetted tub. Room was spacious, we were very surprised and that included the tub which was a was a nice size as well. Room was clean per hotel standards I’m ocd I always do my own cleaning wherever I stay. Overall we had an enjoyable and relaxing night. Will come back."

"Needs maintenance on cabins and playgrounds and outside game activities, no bibles in the cabins, loved the activities for the kids. The staff was wonderful and very friendly and helpful. The Pizza Shack pizza was a hit with the kids. The breakfast buffet we were told about was not there. The store for food and coffee didn’t open until 9am. We would definitely go back. Internet was spotty. The bathhouse was very clean. "
