Excellent hotel the staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, breakfast was really enjoyable with plenty of selection, location is a 10min walk to the center, plus side is the bus stop is right outside of the hotel that takes you straight to the telecabine

The hotel is great with quirky styling and a down to earth atmosphere however, it's a trendy place to be and is open to non-residents who visit to enjoy the bar and free facilities. In the week we stayed it was a madhouse with young children, under 5's, running around out of control. It meant we couldn't enjoy the facilities as much as we would have liked. We booked the hotel because of all the amenities, somehow those amenities need to be reserved for those who have paid to stay there I...

A good family hotel along the main route to Cluses. You'll need a car or taxi to get to this hotel but this would be an excellent option. Clean rooms with modern bathrooms and a walking trail behind the hotel that takes a route to two sets of waterfalls. Very good food in the evening with the restaurant specialising in local produced, traditional food.

Large clean hotel on outskirts of Chamonix with bus stops outside. Washer and dryer facilities available in the basement which are welcome when touring.

The hotel has been recently renovated, - completely, - and it shows. Everything has been done with the highest quality in mind, to suit the first class location right next to the central square of this beautiful town. The quality of the staff and the service seems to have been renovated too, and is excellent. We had a memorable stay. I will certainly return.

A great location, less than 5 minute slow walk to the centre of Chamonix. The room are very comfortable and the room I started in had a view straight into Mont Blanc. The bar was ok, although the beer was very expensive and was ‘Carlsberg’ and the glass was half full of froth. Bit that’s being picky, would definitely stay again

The title say's it all. Our best holiday yet ! My holiday tips: 1. don't bother the hassle of hiring a car at Geneva airport. get a shuttle bus that will take you to the hotel front door. We used albybus and it costs 47 euros each way. 2. Get a 2 or 3 day saver pass (you'll save money) 3. If the weather is looking very good, the first trip is by cable car up to Aiguillie du Midi. (superb) Whilst there and if the budget will stretch, you MUST go across the glaciers on the small cable cars...

Fabulous stay and would highly recommend. Only negative we had was that there was no bin bags available in the apartment and it was not cleaned for the 4 days we stayed and no change of towels.
Other than that we would definitely stay again.

What is the best area to stay in Les Carroz-D'Araches?
The best area to stay in Les Carroz-D'Araches is the village centre, particularly around the church square and the main street, Avenue du Mont Favy.
This area is the heart of the village and offers the most convenience. You'll find a good selection of shops, restaurants, and bars, all within easy walking distance. The main ski lift, the Kedeuze gondola, is also situated here, providing direct access to the Grand Massif ski domain. The general layout is compact and easily navigable on foot.
Families often find the village centre ideal due to its accessibility. With everything close by, it's easy to manage children and their ski gear. The ice rink and the sledging area are typically located centrally, offering entertainment beyond skiing. Many accommodations here are also close to the ski school meeting points.
For couples looking for a relaxing and convenient trip, staying in the village centre offers a refined experience.
