"The room was phenomenal, everything was provided by the host prior to our arrival and communication was clear and succinct. The cottage was clean and ready for myself and the family, and we had a great time, it was near St Ives and Carbis Bay which was a simple five minutes walk away from the cottage. "The set of keys that were in the lockbox had a key for the main building door that would not open the lock. We left those keys on the key rack inside the hapartment hall. We left the keys with a brass key that worked for the main door in the lock box. We were fortunate that a lady from an upstairs apartment let us in the building on our arrival. "Beautiful hotel, wonderful position and stunning views of the bay. I was a bit dubious about the valet parking, but it worked well (and I wouldn't have wanted to fit my car into the car park!). All the staff were helpful and friendly and my single room was well equipped and comfortable. Having a massage in the hotel spa before we left on our last day was the icing on the cake. Big thank you to everyone at the Harbour Hotel and Spa."

"Katie and all her staff are friendly, polite and funny, it was like walking into your friend's house and staying overnight with the added benefit of excellent food and good cider to top it all off, the welcome we received was warm and friendly from the moment we walked through the doors until the moment we sadly had to leave to continue our journey and Dawn on breakfast service was an absolute star and a font of all local knowledge. The rooms are comfortable, clean and ideal for resting after enjoying a few rattlers in the bar. There is nothing negative I can say about this amazing pub/hotel, we will most certainly be visiting again if we are ever back down in the area."

"The staff were so incredibly helpful and kind and we ended up being able to park in the hotel parking lot, which was a nice surprise. The room definitely needed to be updated and didn’t match the photos (we had a huge shag carpet in our room over the original rug which was clearly used to cover a big stain but honestly really kind of gross). I wouldn’t say our room was all that clean but the bedding was spotless and the bed itself was comfortable. Location was fantastic, right across from the beach and a short walk to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was standard (coffee was bad). Again, can’t state enough how friendly and helpful the staff were."
