"I like the size of this room. There was enough space to move around comfortably and place all belongings. The housekeeping staff is excellent. The breakfast was plentiful, but mid. The location is near public transportation. There is evening dining and drinks. I would definitely stay here again."

The Ship Hotel

"Stayed two nights at The Ship hotel in August. The room ( no 7) was on the first floor. It was beautifully decorated and the ensuite bathroom, although quite tiny, had a large shower and good shelf space for toiletries. The juliet balcony looked up the hill, with a sea view to the right. We had a car parking space included, which was very helpful, as space is at a premium. We had breakfast in the restaurant, the food was good, the fresh orange juice delicious and the staff welcoming. We also had an evening meal . The menu wasn't extensive but the food was tasty and well presented. Overall a great hotel, well maintained, friendly staff and a good location in Leigh on Sea."
