Cliffs Pavilion is a theatre located in Westcliff-on-Sea, an outlying suburb that has its own distinct personality, but is still very much a part of Southend-on-Sea in Essex. Although building work on the theatre was started during the 1930s, it didn't open its doors for audiences until much later in the 1960s. Aptly named, Cliffs Pavilion enjoys some fantastic views from its prime location on the cliffs at Westcliff, overlooking the sea. Since opening, the theatre has hosted all sorts of musical concerts and performances, welcoming a wide variety of big names such as Blur, Oasis and Paul McCartney. There are also various club nights and themed events that run throughout the year, something for all tastes and much that is suitable for all of the family.
A Pleasant Afternoon Outing from Essex Hotels

There are a range of other dining options too, including Sunday lunch, pre-show dining and kid's menus.
