DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham-Cotswolds

DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham-Cotswolds

8/10 Good
"I had an overall pleasant stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham. The hotel is set in a lovely, peaceful location with beautiful grounds, making it a relaxing place to stay while still being conveniently located for Cheltenham and the surrounding Cotswolds. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Check-in was straightforward. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the bed was particularly comfortable. However, there were a couple of areas that could have been better. The water pressure in the shower was quite weak and could definitely have been stronger. I also noticed some dust around the toilet area, so a little more attention to detail when cleaning the bathroom would have been appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the hotel comfortable and relaxing. With a few improvements to the bathroom cleanliness and shower pressure, it would have been an even better experience."

Hilton Puckrup Hall Hotel & Golf Club, Tewkesbury

Hilton Puckrup Hall Hotel & Golf Club, Tewkesbury

8/10 Good
"Nice hotel. Rooms a touch dated and with no Aircon (but the hotel doing all they can to help guests during the hot weather). Amazing breakfast! And lovely additional facilities like mini golf and outdoor chess, etc. Pool was nice but a little dirty (stuff floating around at the bottom). Paying extra for a dog friendly room should have been flagged at booking not check-in. Also didn't expect to be charged to use the mini golf (and ultimately wasn't - the charge was apparently waived when we settled our bill) - would have thought that'd be free to guests."

"We returned from a very busy day at 10.30 to find that our room had not been serviced - we had not opted into the scheme whereby guests can forgo a clean and receive a voucher to be used in the bar. Miguel went out of his way to supply the required teas, coffees towels etc. Thank you for your help Miguel."

Stourport Manor Hotel

Stourport Manor Hotel

8/10 Good
"Nice independent run hotel at about the level of a Holiday Inn. Rooms are an adequate size for two to share. Some of the exterior is it showing its age around the back facing on to the sports facilities which are apparently not maintained to a level to currently in use. Restaurant evening menu and bar have a wide selection of options, and the morning breakfast buffet has a good wide selection. There is also a range of good restaurants and pubs within a short distance if you don't want to use the on-site offering. Would I stay again? Yes."
