Nice hotel but needs more Shuttle Bus to the strip

Posted 11-Feb-2016
Pros: My husband and I loved The buffet
Cons: Getting elevator in the court yard building
Location: It was a distance off from the strip of Vegas everything was too far to walk a major highways to cross so either you need to get a shuttle or catch t
The hotel was nice and clean and most of the staff was very friendly

Super Bowl Weekend

Posted 09-Feb-2016
Pros: Clean, hotel staff, location, food was great
Cons: Update the courtyard rooms, i.e. beds, elevator.
Location: It is close enough to the strip without all the crazyiness. Restaurants right across the street within walking distance. Old town is close by also.
The hotel was nice. Staff was AWESOME when we checked in. Our room was a little outdated but because we were in the courtyard rooms. I have, however stayed in the tower and the rooms are nice and clean and comfortable. Reserved tables for Jack's Super Bowl party in their Irish Pub. Food was great everyone was nice, a little understaffed though. Buffet was good and they had unlimited mimosas which is always a plus. I also like that it is not to far from the strip or old town. I would stay here again.

No changed in 30 years

Posted 05-Feb-2016
Pros: Low price.
Cons: Change out the carpet. Try to take out the old smell in the room. The chair in the room was so old it sink down. Change the seating cover in buffet.
Location: Good location and easy in and out.
I stay here 30 years ago. I can tell some improvement but a lot of common area are still the same.

Been there many times tower and courtyard

Posted 04-Feb-2016
Courtyard means to get softer beds, courtyard got remodel about nine years ago I used to stay before and after it's about time for them to do some courtyard upgrades again,I do stay in the tower about 50% of the time but there's nothing wrong with the courtyard if the room is comfortable an the bed is comfortable and it's clean, if I'm by myself I like courtyard because the pool is right there, but it is time to give it an upgrade

I would not stay there again

Posted 02-Feb-2016
Pros: Staff was friendly
Cons: everything
Location: ok
I didn't like it, big water/ mold stain in ceiling and large piece of wall paper tear/ peeling and stains size of room was small and cramped also decor was outdated. Ventilation was poor and slots sucked.

Very impressed

Posted 01-Feb-2016
Pros: It was clean.
Cons: Better shampoo
Location: Strip is a hop, skip and a jump away. Places to eat across the street and big gift shop about
Palace was much much better than I had expected. Our room was updated, clean and did Not smell like cigarette. As we walked thru the entire hotel and casino, we observed that everywhere we went was like that. The lobby is welcoming as well. Not a huge hotel but its perfect. Its close to the freeway and perfect for getting to the strip withot hitting that horrible traffic. Ive stayed at high end hotels on the strip and in bigger cities, Palace is up there in my opinion. Buffet was also very affordable and food was good too. Parking was very easy as well. Staff was very helpful and drinks just kept coming. Will probably be my go to hotel from now on when I go to Las Vegas.
