Günstige Bleibe in guter Lage

Posted 26-Sep-2016
Hotel ist ok aber alt und abgewohnt. Zum sparen ok aber wer was besseres will soll was anderes nehmen. Lage an sich ist super. Liegt direkt an der Interstate 15 nach Salt Lake City/ Los Angeles. Zum Strip nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto. Flughafen ca. 15 Minuten.

court yard sucks

Posted 26-Sep-2016
I was put in the court yard section (for non smokers) but the building smelled like an ashtray. Other than that I loved it.

nice hotel away from the strip

Posted 24-Sep-2016
Pros: EVERYTHING.
Cons: NOTHING/
Location: Off the strip, 7 eleven shop and mcdonalds across the street.
The Palace Station Hotel is a nice hotel if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We upgraded from a courtyard room to a tower suite which was lovely with great views. Don't be put off by the distance from the strip as they run an excellent free shuttle bus service to and from the strip at various times and to and from the airport, we used this service every day and never had a problem getting on the shuttle bus. There are plenty of places to eat at the hotel all at good prices and a great breakfast/ lunch and dinner buffet very cheap with great choice of food and much cheaper than the hotels on the strip. The pool area was nice and quiet with plenty of beds and towels always available. Nice casino and not to busy with only mainly hotel guests and locals which was nice. Will definitely be returning to the Palace Station in the near future.

Decent hotel for a descent price. You have to pay a deposit but they'll put it back in your card after your stay and they'll deduct a maintancee fee. There is some restaurants inside and they have a really good buffet for a good price. They also have free shuttles to the airport and to the strip.

Most affordable close to strip

Posted 22-Sep-2016
Bed linens needed to be changed without request every 2 days. Housekeeping wouldnt staighten linens very well. Also, 1 day at the buffet line. While with my husband and mom, a lady (black woman) at the buffet register took my rewards card and said it would only cover 2 people for a discounted meal price. She charged regular price for 1 person instead of suggesting to obtain another rewards card right there and then. I noticed this as i was at the buffet several mornings for breakfast. And to the people which did not had the card other ladies at the register where issuing the card by pulling them aside at another counter. We were very upset with this lazy lady not going above and beyond for hotel guests!

You get what you pay for.

Great staff. Broken hair dryer. No bedspreads on the beds. Poorly working shower heads. NO amenities like fridge, microwave, coffeemaker. Nice pools, lots of dining options, you could spend the whole day there and have more than plenty to do. Staff is quick to solve issues and VERY friendly.

A Quiet Hotel

Posted 21-Sep-2016
Pros: The Sunday Brunch.
Location: The hotel is off the strip and you will need a car or taxi or public transit to get places. There is a shuttle service but not sure where it goes.
The hotel is out of the way and off the Strip. They do have a shuttle but not sure where it goes. I only stayed one night. I was given a room in the Courtyard section which is the old "Motel" section. It was old but fairly well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. Even though my windows faced the interstate, it was fairly quiet. I was there for the Sunday Brunch in the buffet and it was great. I actually didn't eat any breakfast, but had good roast beef and fried chicken. There was a good variety and the breakfast portion looked nice with made to order omelets. There is a discount with your player's card. The casino was fairly large with a mix of new and old slot machines. There is a nice poker room, sportsbook and a keno lounge. All-in-all, I would recommend this hotel for a quiet stay.
