Started out great. Got to hotel before check on and before we even dropped our bags off at concierge we got the text our room was ready. But then we walk into the room, in pack and go to change. Assuming the other person already washed up, there was dirty face and hand towels as well as the small one outside the shower towels on the floor in the bathroom we realized it was left from the person before us. Paul was his name. He had a chocolate croissant from Starbucks at 5:39am. The garbage wasn't even emptied. Not wanting to repack everything and move we just asked that someone come finish cleaning the room as we were going out for the day/evening. Long story short 3 calls later, after I showered with my shoes on, someone came and cleaned the bathroom and emptied the trash. Staff on the floor were always very friendly (bartenders, waitresses, buffet staff, security). Let's not forget about the sewage smell near the pool. Hold your breath when entering and exiting the pool area.

First time stay. Renovated room was very nice and the 4 pools are excellent. Close to everything. All staff that I interacted with very pleasant. I did not like using a kiosk to check in. I don’t believe that is very personable.

Quality of the personal hygiene materials were not good ( no conditioner , bad quality shampoo and soap, no shaving stuff ,…). The concierge personnel were friendly and helpful , we had issue with the bad smell in our room at the beginning but they changed it for us . Poor communication as we didn’t know there is any shuttle available from airport or a buffet exist in the hotel as we had difficulties for such a things too much . But overall was a good place to stay !

The hotel was good. It is definitely in need of some upgrades but for a reasonably priced hotel on the strip, it was ok. The pool area was amazing and looked amazing compared to the hotel. We had no issues getting to and from the hotel from the airport and navigating the strip.

I’ve been going to Vegas since the 70’s and have stayed at all sorts of hotels, never the Excalibur. This was the first time, and oh my!! The beds are amazing, checking in well, not so well on the kiosk, but I’m not technically inclined on how and why it didn’t work, so I checked in on the front desk and the “young” lady was very helpful. We at at Dicks….food was excellent, personal over the top, but I wouldn’t advise kids under 18….but we had a blast!!!

Everything was wonderful. Clean room. Clean hotel. Nice pool. Be prepared for -super expensive drinks at the pool area -can take a little bit to understand the elevator system -pool closed at 6 -lack of having a person manning the front desk -staff continually trying to recruit you for timeshares -can get disoriented in the hotel, but there are maps available and signs to point you where the major landmarks are Still giving a 5 star because all the basics were wonderful. We learned to ignore the timeshare people, found where to buy reasonable drinks (ABC/CVS) and had plenty to do after the pool closed.

It had been 10 years since we had stayed at Excalibur. We were reminded how much we have always enjoyed it. For the budget conscious who still want the perfect Las Vegas strip experience, the hotel is just perfect. The room was comfortable and nice, the food court has a lot of good choices, we had a blast in the casino and it was a great stay. We will be back.
