Fantastic friendly and helpful staff. Good food

We received a warm welcome in the bar and were shown our room. The room was quite small but it was clean and well laid out and had everything we needed. Breakfast of cereal bar, instant porridge and a croissant is provided but we headed to the Wetherspoons or local cafe. The bar is very welcoming and has a nice atmosphere. We liked the central location for exploring Lancaster and not far from the University so we were able to easily visit our son. We will definitely be back.

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in by far , they couldn’t co enough for us and the rooms and place are absoluxley (see what I did there) amazing . We got engaged and they helped . Will deffo be returning

Everything about The Royal is quality. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable and the food is excellent, varied and very good value for money

Second visit to Thurnham Hall and it was not a let down. The greeting when you arrive is second to none. The hall itself is beautiful and the studio room was perfect for the two of us. If you are looking for a busy adventurous holiday this is probably not the hotel for you but it is well located for exploring Lancaster and Cumbria.
