We didn’t have high expectations being it was basically a self service hotel (room service every 3 days). Some highlights.. 1 - Bathroom clean and spacious enough with hot(!) water for showers. 2 - Powerful, effective room air conditioner. 3\. The three bed room was surprisingly comfortable, amazing value if not the best in the Kyoto area. However, there are some minor complaints. 1- The room door annoyingly squeak/shake whenever other guests are entering/exiting their rooms on either side. 2 - The ultrasound fridge barely cools contents inside. 3 - Washer and dryer are one machine, duo function. Takes 1000s of yen and forever to dry. Better going to a nearby laundromat to save time and money. That being said, the facilities were newish, clean and had more space than hoped. I would stay here again.
