The bathtub in the room was clogged and dirty when we got there and the shower didn’t work properly. The staff at the front desk weren’t helpful and were focused on their phones and ignored guests. The area itself felt unsafe compared to everywhere else I’ve been in Japan. The workers at the local convenience store were rude and laughed at foreigners just buying food and it felt like no one in this area wanted tourists. Room was very clean, room cleaning is only once every three days which didn't bother me and they put out new towels at the front desk for you to grab if needed. Great location, around the corner from the metro line. Front desk is essentially self service although there was a staff member there to check me in as I arrived at 4pm (when check in opens) not sure if that is the same everyday. I didn't really see anyone at the front desk usually although I think there were staff in the office.
