The other reviews are pretty solid. It is clean, is in a good location, has spacious rooms, and has all the amenities you'll need and more. We used the coin laundry, which was super helpful, and they have places to fill water containers in the lobby. The only thing we wish was better was the beds; the mattresses are super hard, and so are the pillows. Luckily, we were tired enough every night that we fell asleep easily, but our backs started to feel it after a couple of nights, so if you have a bad back, I wouldn't recommend it. Seriously, we had slept on futons that were better than these beds. Other than that, this hotel was a nice experience.

This hotel was good for value for the budget travellers. Really basic rooms at good prices. The hotel had a nice concierge team and it has good amenities which was helpful. The location is in a quiet neighborhood but easy walkable access to the other busier areas.

Not a fancy or luxurious hotel but the rooms were clean and spacious! All the staff were very friendly. Location was good - easily accessible to train station and bus stops. The hotel is located in a quieter area about 1km from downtown. Laundry was a bit inconvenient cause there are only 2 machines for the entire hotel so they were in use majority of the time. Overall, had a pleasant stay!

Quiet and safe neighborhood! Although room is only cleaned every three nights. Aside from housekeeping, location is nearby Kyoto station, walkable to shops and restaurants. And a bus ride away from local attractions. I would recommend this location.
