This hotel was so well priced that I was worried it wouldn't be as nice as the photos! But it was actually even lovelier than I had hoped and the room was everything we needed. Great location away from the super busy streets but within easy walking distance of the sights as well as rail. Would absolutely stay here again.

As you know, our hotel is located at very convenient place to many sightseeing spots and easy access to public transportation such as city bus, train and subway. We regret to learn that our breakfast did not meet your expectation. As our breakfast, we mainly provide traditional homemade meals in Kyoto using plenty of fresh vegetables and ingredients. Althought some of our guest from overseas might feel their taste unaccustomed, we are very pleased if you try them and come to like.We hope your stay has been something memorable. The bus from Kyoto Station drops you right in front of the hotel! There is a Family Mart 2 doors down, so convenient. Walkable to Nishiki Market and other shops (Takashimaya, Gucci, Louis Vuitton if you like high end stores). The hotel is beautiful inside and the rooms are clean and spacious. We shared a triple. The beds were so comfortable. Be sure to have the buffet breakfast (we did twice because it was so delicious!). Definitely would stay here again!

Very nice hotel and room, has a more traditional vibe which is perfect for staying in Kyoto. I would have to say that the location isn’t that great, had to walk a lot to get to the station and not that many choices of restaurants around. It’s nice that there was a family mart downstairs.

The property and room were very good, as a Japanese resident, I expect to be treated as such, but was asked for additional ID based on my appearance as a non Japanese. Japanese residents do not carry passports, and are not required to show additional ID. Some ID has private information that guests might not want to share with hotel staff. This is a poor first impression to make, and not how a guest should be treated.

It has traditional Japanese shared bath, is relaxing after a long day. Walking distance to Subway to shopping. Clean and safe, friendly staffs. No microwave in the room, can use one via the front desk. Only two coil wash machine.

We stayed 3 nights. One of the better chain hotels in Kyoto at a reasonable price. Conveniently located at Shijo Karasuma Line, about 2km from Gion and Yasaka Jinja. 10 minutes from Nishiki market. Supermarket and convenient store just 2 minutes walk away. There are loads of food options. The room we got was spacious unlike the typical business hotels in Japan. Although we were on the 8th floor there wasn't much of a view. Breakfast was additional, it was good provided both Japanese and western options. The front desk staff were excellent. They greeted us properly whenever we arrive and leave the hotel for the day. The large public bath was nice after a day's walk, it was not overly crowded. They also have a quiet strict COVID prevention protocol in place.

The size of room and size of the bed xxxlll can sleep 4-5 people in one bed . Clean , near the bus station , a lot of shops and restaurant , staff very helpful...... the price is the best ! Its impossible to find in Japan a very good hotel for $31.00 . Stay as long as possible .

I recently stayed at this hotel and it was truly a gem for the price. The first thing that struck me upon arriving was how clean the hotel was. Every surface, from the lobby to the guest room, was spotless. The hotel staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, making my stay all the more enjoyable. But what really made this hotel stand out was its location. It was situated within walking distance of some of the best food and coffee shops in the city. I was able to try a different restaurant or cafe for every meal and never ran out of options. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and convenient place to stay.

Mitsui Gardens
First of all the accommodations were fantastic the staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was excellent. I stayed at Mitsui Gardens in Fukuoka and that hotel was fabulous. In the future when traveling in Japan I will definitely stay at Mitsui Gardens

Staff was wonderful. Clean, quiet, easy access to transportation. The restaurant was not that great for breakfast but everything else was fantastic
